Great pizza, really good dough. Two vegan options on the menu but they said they're happy to adapt others. Nice staff and a cool setting!

This is a highly popular pizzeria in the centre of town. There are 2 vegan pizza choices which change from time to time. One is usually adventurous, the other, the Marinara is a bit plain and boring. The dough is fabulous and the toppings are generous and of great quality.
Read moreThe atmosphere is relaxed and the staff are pleasant. Just one thing...I wish they still sold the previous vegan options in addition to their latest ones or offer to veganise some of the others. For example, couldn't they swap out the dairy for vegan cheese on some of the vegetarian options?
I suppose they don't feel they need to at the moment. Hopefully that will change over time.

I had heard good things about Dough & Oil having some vegan options. We started over the road at Oil for a few cocktails which were lovely.

I will say there could be more of a vegan selection, Or perhaps offer a simple base and then choose from a list of vegan toppings to make it more appealing to visit more frequently

The vegan Al Fresco pizza. Which I, ironically, ate inside 🤷♂️ Washed down with some ginger beer.

The decor - a combination of diner style booths enclosed by welded metal and herras fencing - felt quite oppressive. Like being a caged animal.
The service was friendly and efficient. But the menu is extremely limited for vegans.
Pros: Lovely tasting pizza with a crispy base, Friendly service
Cons: Oppressive decor, Lack of options, Have to put your own drinks

I thought this restaurant was nice but it was a shame there weren’t more vegan options. I wish there was a vegan bruschetta.

The Jacko pizza (with garlic butter and jackfruit) is truly amazing, would highly recommend it. Friendly, attentive staff, but a bit of confusion about whether sides/milkshakes could be veganised. Ended up with the house salad without cheese, but padron peppers and milkshakes were not possible in the end.

Only 2 options for vegan pizza- but the jackfruit one is actually amazing. The base is to die for and the toppings are so delicious, I love the lime crema. Prices, staff and atmosphere are all wonderful

They always have two vegan pizzas. The vegan margarita and one more that keeps changing. They offer a £20 deal Monday to Wednesday. It includes 2 pizzas and a starter.

Good find on my first visit to Shrewsbury. Great pizza with a good mix of mushrooms on, coconut ice cream and chocolate sauce for pud, all Vegan.
