Nice service, great range of durian related dishes

Enjoyed vegan version of monkey head mushroom rendang. Spicy and filling, most dishes can be made vegan but there is only baked durian available for vegan dessert, service was friendly and attentive. Hot pot looked good, large range of vegetarian dishes available.

Pros: Can make vegan versions of most things , Durian durian durian , Well priced

Has non durian options!

Serves nasi lemak and nasi padang but also a range of other things. Also has smoothies, drinks, ice cream and cake. Food was good. I regret ordering the durian ice cream but at least I tried! There was some confusion over whether bill had to be either S$20 or S$30 to pay by card.

Great place

Golden Phoenix fragrance rice and sambal pepes fish rice were gd. Bacon Aglio olio wasn’t fantastic too oily. Fried oyster omelette and the durian dessert was 👍🏻.

Cafe Hopping today and to Double Durian

Was café hopping today, from enjoying a coffee at Chye Seng Huat Hardware to Double Durian for meatless lunch. Double Durian is a cosy place with a nice décor. Pricing reasonable (no service charge & GST). Of course, the food doesn’t disappoint too.

It has a menu that would also appeal to the young (meatless western cuisine and cake). And a good beverage menu with a variety of drinks/juice to choose from. You can find Indonesian Cuisine (meatless) here. I ordered the Gado Gado Special Rice ($6.8). Love the Gado Gado, would prefer to have some sambal chilli or curry sauce to go with the rice.

For those who doesn’t enjoy spicy food, go for the mini steamboat that is priced around $10. They’ve some unique items such as Glutinous Rice with Durian, Durian Ice Cream. Worth going again.

Good taste

Great taste sambal , foods big portion, durian ice-cream contain durian.
Best place to enjoy nasi lemak.

Great Durian Ice creams

Great place to find vegetarian option of nasi lemak. Plus the durian ice cream is to die for (authentic) but a little pricy. Worth paying in my opinion.

Good food but a bit expensive

One of the rare places that sells vegetarian nasi padang in Singapore. The nasi padang and nasi lemak taste good and the durian crepe cake was very nice. However, the prices are on the higher side where the rice dishes cost about $8.80 to $9.80. We went on a weekday dinner and the place was rather full, would recommend reserving your table if you are going down in a big group.

Pros: Tasty

Cons: Quite expensive

Nice cafe with durian and Indonesian food

Rare to see vegetarian Indonesian food, especially in Singapore. Liked their nasi padang and nasi lemak. Also had their Durian smoothie, very nice with a lot of durian flavour.

Many dishes have eggs but can be replaced with vegies. But their desserts mostly have eggs.

Pros: Nice Indonesian food and durian desserts and drink

Cons: quite small space, cake contains egg

Double Durian yummy Indonesian food

Tuck away in a little known location sits a gem offering yummy Indonesian flavored Vegetarian food with a twist. Their deserts are made with real durian. And is super good. Have yet to try their bbq durian. Will make it a point to try it when there.
