Tasty food

I’ve stopped in here twice and tried two options from the curry menu (which gets you a large portion — enough for two, one very hungry person, or leftovers). Both were good, although I found the jackfruit seemed a bit undercooked in the jackfruit curry — difficult to pull apart — but it was still tasty. If you don’t order the lunch special curries, be prepared to wait about 20 minutes for your curry order, whether you get it to eat in or takeaway. I’ve also seen people waiting for a while for dosa orders.

I’ve found the staff to be friendly and good at answering questions, and the menu and lunch special display both clearly mark what is vegan or vegetarian.

Pros: Good food at reasonable prices , Friendly and helpful staff , Clearly marked vegan and vegetarian options

Cons: A wait for non-lunch-special food (but worth it)

Tasty Quick Stop

Quick stop in the market for some vegan Indian. Clearly marked menu. Had the dosa and it had a nice spice. A bit salty for me.

Delicious dosas

Hole in the wall shop in the popular Riverside Market. They offer several vegan dosas, uttapam and a vegan combo (two vegan curries, rice and roti) for $15. The food is tasty and staff are friendly. My only issue would be that the plates and cutlery are throwaway - Riverside doesn’t have reusable cutlery and plates like it’s little sister venue Little High does.

Pros: Tasty food, Friendly staff

Cons: Throwaway plates and cutlery, Limited seating on busy days
