I stopped here after Queens Pride and had a potato/spinach dosa and it was really good. I am hoping to come back and try some other dishes.

Dosa delight Thali has yogurt - Edit
I had the Dosa Delight Thali as the menu said it was vegan. However, I was suspicious of the cream y stuff on my plate so I asked if it was vegan and they said no. So if you get this dish, ask for no yogurt !!!

I ate here for lunch with 6 people. We all got different dosas, and all loved them. We also got several poori, which were heavenly. They gladly serve mild to spicy, as you like. Very friendly staff.

This has become our favorite Indian restaurant in Jackson Heights. The menu is huge (144 choices), with many vegan options. The dosas are oversized, delicious and well-prepared. The baingan bharta (eggplant) was superb. Comfortable seating, with quiet music. Muhammed, our waiter, provided excellent service.

Used to go to this place a lot when living in Queens. It's a casual spot and the waiters have waiters have always been very friendly. The atmosphere looks like it used to be a club from the 1980s, with mirrors lining the walls. The food is great and good portions for the price. My only issue is they could have more vegan options for being a vegetarian place. They had no vegan dessert (even the waiter admitted they should have one considering they're vegetarian) and no non-dairy milk for coffee or tea.

For a place that advertises itself as "vegetarian fast food," there was nothing fast.
Read moreThe food was good, the waiter was friendly, and the price was nice. I just wouldn't describe it as "fast food," because it took an hour from the time we arrived until the time we left.
Also, no indications on the menu or signs of what is/isn't vegan, so that was frustrating, since the dishes also didn't list what was in them.
