Gluten-free great vegan indian food - Edit
Wonderful delicious healthy dishes. Everything is gluten-free and vegan. It's also a kosher place. My favorite dish called "Lakshmi", and I really recommend trying their Lassie shakes, based on a cashew yogurt they make.

Best South Indian food in Tel Aviv - Edit
100% vegan restaurant, reasonably priced. Everything I had was excellent: uttapam, masala dosa, salt lassi, besan ludo. The friend I was with had been before and had good things to say about their thalis, too.

A great find for Indian food lovers - Edit
Up until I found Dosa Bar, I've not found one I thought really worthy of the genre until I finally got to try this little place.
Read moreBeing so small, seating is cramped and not so comfy, but the food makes up for it big time. Authentically made, crispy dosas with delicious fillings, the little dollops of flavoured coconut chutneys just as the Indians make them.
Although not vegan - I'm vegetarian - I honestly couldn't tell that the salty lassi drink I had wasn't yoghurt or buttermilk, but cashew milk. It was delicious.
South Indian food is rarely found in this region and I'm hoping we're going to see a lot more because it's unique with wonderful flavours. It would be even better with more spacious premises. Recommended.
Pros: Deliciously prepared, authentic South Indian fare, Great for vegans, vegetarians and even non veggies
Cons: Uncomfortably cramped or high stool seating, Airconditioning not functioning well., Toilets up steep steps so poor disabled allowance

Not pleased with the taste - Edit
The seating arrangement is not good, eating on high chair is not comfortable. We ordered masala dosa, lentil soup, Idli and plain dosa.
Read moreThe soup was not good in taste. Just booked lentils with some species nothing extraordinary for the price.
The dosa was crispy but sambhar was again booked lentils with some spices and tamarind paste, it was nothing close to the real indian sambhar.
Chutney served with Idli and dosa were just average.
Overall it's a damn expensive restaurant with very poor seating arrangement and not good taste.
Pros: It's 100 % vegan
Cons: Expensive, high chair seating, average food.
