We had a great time at Doppleganger, all of the food looked really good, and the burgers we had were amazing! The service was really good too, would definitely recommend.

Another visit to DoppleGanger and no disappointment at all. Our Family try several different things over last few visit and all of them delicious even for non vegan members. Worth 5 star!

Great burger place with a regular changing range of 'chicken' and 'beef' style burgers. Big fan of the BBK with korean sticky jackfruit and slaw. Also a nice place to sit in, with an easy ordering system on a tablet at the front of the counter.
Read moreThe only reason I'm not given them 5 stars is because their fries are air-fried, and they have a air-fried taste which I (personally) am not a massive fan of. Though this is not a problem when you get the loaded fries... But if you want junk food cooked in a healthier way then its the perfect place to come!
EDIT 2022- Enjoyed a burger and some loaded fries again. We found the fries much better tasting and got the ranch style ones (which were very creamy and maybe need some spice to cut through it). also had a kimchi chicken burger - found the texture of the chicken really good but maybe could have been crispier. Altogether enjoyed the meal- especially the tablet ordering system, but it was expensive for what you get.

Two vegans and two omnis walk into a bar… - Edit
And enjoyed the hell out of the food here! Ok so it’s not a bar, but there were 2 vegans and 2 omnis in our crew and EVERYONE loved the food! My fav was the Kimmie and the fries with the smoky jackfruit. We really wanted to try the shakes but they were out of the ice cream needed to make them…that was a bummer. Still giving 5 stars because the food was that good.

We had 2 burgers (can't remember the names) a side of chips and the slaw with kimchi, absolutely delicious! The best burgers we've had in a long time and it didn't feel greasy either which is great (I believe they use an air fryer). You can often feel sluggish after burgers but not this time, it feels like eating healthy junk food if that makes sense! I think there are a few gluten free options also. If I had to say something bad is that it's not the cheapest option perhaps but considering the quality I don't think it's that bad

I had a Korean BBQ jackfruit burger with fries and a milkshake. The burger was tasty - not the best I've had but way better than anything a mortal like myself could make. The milkshake was ridiculously good and very thick. It was almost like drinking mousse. I'd definitely recommend getting a milkshake.
Read moreAll ordering is done with a tablet which people may be familiar with but I didn't really like. If you don't want to press the info button on every single item, you have to be able to divine what a "nottolenghi" or "kimbo" burger might be from the name alone. It also removes an interaction with a person which I do like at places like this.
My burger, fries and shake came to £25 (with mandatory 10% tip automatically added??) which is slightly too high but can't complain that much.
Overall, it's a really great option for junk food in Cambridge and only a couple things hold it back from being perfect.

Read moreSince she has a dog we were worried wether we could get a table in here but they were super happy about the dog. They even have ice cream for dogs (he absolutely loved it).
The restaurant it self is quite futuristic. You place orders on a tablet but the waitress was really nice! And gave explanations for everything if needed.
The burgers are awesome! I had the Otto lenghi styled burger. The only thing I didn’t expect was that the burger tasted really meaty (I guess many people want that) but I love burgerpattys that taste more like vegetables 🥕 🥦 but that’s just me.
All fried stuff is airfried (really great taste!) many vegan sauces 👌
One tip: if you want to get a dessert if you want the nonmilkshake: don’t eat too much before! It is absolutely delicious but really much!

Called in for a late lunch on a trip to Cambridge. Used Happy Cow to find it and am pleased I did. Great selection of burgers and drinks. Friendly staff - showed us how to use the ordering device etc. Me and my husband had different burgers and both were amazing! Prices are fine - about the same a one pays for a decent vegan burger anywhere. My only complaint is that I live 3 hours away so please open more restaurants 😝

GF burgers, please! 🙏🏻 - Edit
I was apprehensive about visiting Doppleganger as I knew they only have a limited number of GF options (which I am grateful for!). Staff were lovely and allergens taken seriously, however, the bun-less burger just didn’t do it for me. The portion felt very small for the price and could have done with a wider range of salad items. I really hope Doppleganger introduce gluten-free buns and start to offer proper GF burgers as I’m sure they’d be incredibly well received!
