One of the best OG spots - Edit
The fact that it’s open 24 hours on the weekend makes it an automatic 5 stars. Sometimes as a vegan you just want to eat fat and greasy junk and this place hits the spot like no other. Recommend their milkshakes (amazing)and fried chicken

Not up to the hype - Edit
Great concept poor execution. The menu looks amazing. Comfort food. The Mac and cheese had a strange after taste. The fried chicken was good. They used instant potatoes for the mashed potatoes and gravy. Very disappointing. For the price everything should be fresh. Also everything is locked up which makes me think it’s not in the best area. Could not find a clean table.

Vegan Fried Chicken - Edit
Quite literally the best vegan fried chicken I’ve ever had. Fries are good too. Mac n cheese is bland.

It is definitely comfort food. The “chicken” was amazing.

Zomfg!!! - Edit
The fact that this exists makes me so happy. Vegan version of a fried chicken shop that has soon many amazing options, I had a very hard time picking. The chicken and Mac and cheese were INSANE. As was the pumpkin cinnamon roll.

10 out of 10 - Edit
I can’t say enough good things about this place. We got the fried shrimp and fries and also the pulled pork sandwich with Mac and cheese on it, and omg it was all so over the top delicious! The desserts are all amazing too, this time we got the carrot cake but did not have enough room to eat it after all that other stuff, so I am planning to have it for breakfast and I kinda can’t wait. Drop what you are doing and go give this vegan paradise your money. Even my carnivore boyfriend couldn’t stop talking about how fabulous the food is here.

Unique “Chicken” - Edit
I had to try their signature fried chick’n, so I got a breast and leg with Mac-n-cheese and fries. The chicken has a “skin” barrier between the breading and meat. If you miss fried chicken, then this is definitely worth a try.

Very Novel Food Options - Edit
I was craving some fried chicken, so my friend brought me to this place. I was blown away by the number of options they had. I had fried chicken with some garlic fries. I’d say the texture of the fried chicken is amazing, especially the outer “skin”. However, the flavor was kinda lacking. Once I bit into it, I could tell pretty easily that is was just some soy product. The garlic fries were BOMB. So much flavor and the portion was massive. I also got a ham and cheese croissant to have the next morning, and it was so good. Very true to the real thing.
Read moreThe location was not that great. I didn’t like how ran down the restaurant looked inside, and it didn’t feel very hygienic either.
Overall, it’s a really cool spot to visit just for the novelty, or if you feel like killing yourself with grease (because the food is INCREDIBLY greasy, and you WILL feel it quickly).

Great comfort food - Edit
The food is just way too good. Ordered the pulled pork sandwich, bacon cheese fries, shrimp po boy sandwich, a fudge brownie and a oreo cheese cake. Everything was super delicious. Also had their fried chicken. It was absolutely delicious. They also mock the chicken skin and I really liked it.

Comfort food & open late - Edit
What an amazing find. Incredibly good comfort food and open super late. Best vegan fried chicken we've ever had. Loved the milkshakes. Had a hard time choosing which flavor. We had strawberry oreo and mint chocolate. Absolutely delicious. Wish we could have eaten more!

Delicious chicken - Edit
This is the sort of place you wanna go to after a night of partying/drinking. It’s super indulging and tasty but it’s not the healthiest. The fried chicken, wow! It was actually incredible. If you’re down for deep fried flare, this place is a good spot. Good fries too. The decor screams DIY punk vibes, it’s interesting.

Better than their other restaurant - Edit
But that is a low bar. Definitely would only eat here if nothing else was available. Greasy and quality is very low.

Realmente valeu à pena a recomendação.

A disappointment - Edit
They didn’t have any poppers on the menu and that’s where I usually eat. I’m not a big fan of fake meat but I found the restaurant was kind of dumpy now and there’s nobody to take your order. You have to use a big screen for that all in all it’ll be a while till I’m back.

Downhill and lots of Plastic - Edit
I used to love Doomies. Not sure if the vegan options available in town have just surpassed it or if it’s gone downhill, but lately the food has been off. I ordered the fried chicken plate recently and it smelled and tasted weird enough that I couldn’t ever stomach it again.
Read moreThey also aren’t conscious about their to-go packaging. Styrofoam, plastic, PLASTIC BAGS. It feels like any fully vegan place should naturally be more conscious of this component of their output. It’s just weird and disappointing. Do better please?
I probably won’t go back but the jalapeño poppers may tempt me.

Good comfort food - Edit
Extensive menu of vegan comfort food. Chicken wasn’t my favourite but maybe because I am not a US native. Mac and cheese was good and fries were amazing. Milkshake was good but very pricey at around $12 just for the shake.

HAIR IN FOOD - Edit
i’ve come here before twice and really liked the food. it is a bit pricey so i don’t come often, so i was excited to eat here again. a few bites into my food and i found a black hair tangled into my fries ☹️ (i have blue hair, definitely was not mine). i really like their food but i won’t be coming back after this.

Their fried chicken is the best vegan fried chicken I've ever had! It was so deliciously crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. Their bacon ranch fried chicken sandwich is also amazing!
