Great variety of vegan donuts! - Edit
This is a very vegan-friendly place. If I’m not wrong, around 5 flavors of plant-based donuts are offered to customers every day and the flavors may vary!
Read moreDonuts are delicious, but I’d recommend asking how sweet is the one you want to buy (if this matters). I usually combine sweet deserts with unsweetened beverages and vice versa. Turned out, the sweetness of donuts here may vary greatly. I twice picked a wrong combination, so next time I’ll consult the staff before ordering.
Apart from donuts, the cafe offers various beverages with dairy alternatives and some options of plant-based breakfasts.
Prices are rather high, but the quality of food and service is corresponding. Staff is English-speaking, friendly and polite. Modern interior design and welcoming atmosphere motivate to come again.
The place is a 5-minute walk from I.P.Pavlova metro station and is situated in a secluded area which makes it a perfect destination for those who enjoy silence while still being able to quickly travel to another location.

Fancy place with a great selection of vegan donuts - Edit
This is a sister shop of a nearby (and very popular) café Coffee room. Both are kind of fancy hipster places with super high prices and instagrammable interiors. The location is popular with expats and Airbnb guests, so their main target are foreigners. Czechs come here to experience a typical American concept and menu.

Edit 2020: So they moved to a new place and have much more seating, finally. Also, they have an open kitchen now where you can watch them making all the goodies. About half of the donuts are vegan. They also added breakfasts to the menu, but both vegan options are sweet (granola or chia pudding).
Edit Oct 2021: They apparently have a new savoury breakfast option - English muffin with smoked tempeh, and you can get it in a deal with coffee for 125 CZK. Very tasty I must say, the dressing is just perfect.

I really enjoyed the vibe in Donut Shop. We got excellent service in English and we could sit outside by a quiet street. The coffee was decent and the vegan raspberry mimosa donut was so good. The place is located in a calm area so it’s a bit of hidden gem.

Everything was great about this place; the staff were friendly and spoke perfect English, the donuts were excellent - especially the chocolate ganache and coconut-pandan varieties... I just wish we could have stayed longer in Prague so that we could have tried all of the varieties! Perfect breakfast/brunch place. I would give it a 5 star rating, but it is very true that they also sell donuts with meat (bacon etc.).

Best vegan donuts! - Edit
They have both - non-vegan and vegan donuts - but there are at least 4 vegan options every day. They moved to a bigger location now and there are plenty of seating options - indoor and outdoor. I always come here when I'm in Prague and also get a box of donuts to go. The coffee is great as well and you can choose from more than one plant milk options.

Was a bit far from the center, but a great neighborhood to visit and see normal life in Prague. There were maybe 4 vegan donut options and good strong coffee. Staff was hit or miss as far as good customer service.

They had 5 or 6 vegan varieties when I went! Friendly staff. I'd say the quality is a little better than "Blue Vegan Pig," the all-vegan donut shop not far away, so it's up to you weather to support the all-vegan shop or go for the classier Donut Shop. "Blue Vegan Pig" is cheaper though.

Donuts look gorgeous and tastes pretty good (however might be better, we had the feeling they are dull and quite boring inside). Though if I had known they sell donuts with meat just next to the vegan ones ... i would have changed my mind - next time for vegan donuts will go straight to Blue Vegan Pig!

We came to the shop at ~16:30 and there were only 2 kinds of vegan donuts left (penut butter and double-chocolate with salt). The donuts are okay, not something special, a bit spongy. Can be a nice snack to take on the way if you want some sugar rush.

Wow what an awesome little donut shop! Arrived there early in the morning and were able to choose from 6 vegan donut flavours (I think?), some rather fancy and some more on the... oldies but goodies side of life. I opted for the peanut butter one and was not disappointed...super fluffy donut with some peanut sprinkles on top.... honestly super well done ! I don't think the prices were out of the ordinary, I feel like €2,50 for a vegan donut is fair. So if you find yourself in the area - and even if it's totally out of your way and you have to walk 2 hours to get there - do yourself a favour and go there.

Such a cool little place with very friendly staff and a nice selection of vegan donuts. Not all donuts are vegan, but the vegan ones are clearly marked. They also serve coffee!
Read moreThey close once they're sold out, so you might want to head there in the morning to make sure you get the full selection. We were there around 9am. There's space to sit inside and outside, as well as a restroom.
Donuts were absolutely delicious, everything you could ask for :)

I went being afraid they would have only one or two vegan options, but I was surprised to find they had several and I liked that. When it comes to taste, they were a little dry, I am not a huge donut lover, however I’ve tried good donuts and these ones were lacking a little moist.

Lovely place! Their donuts are amazing! Huge and fluffy, tasty glaze, many vegan choices! My favorites were Orange Pistachio & Rosemary and Peanut butter. I loved the creative use for Bucatini pasta as a straw! Very funny but also very eco friendly! Loved it! Definitely worth going there!

At first I thought that the donuts were a bit overpriced but while eating I realised I was wrong. The donuts are huge and quite filling. I really liked the Brownie & Lemon Donut and the Orange Pistacchio & Rosemary one was also good (a little too many different and rather unintense flavours for my taste going on in there though). I was really happy to get vegan donuts but my expectations based on previous reviews where a bit higher.

Great flavour selection - Edit
Great selection of vegan donuts with classic flavours as well as more experimental combinations. I had the orange-pistachio w/rosemary and a lemon-brownie one, the former being my favourite of the two. The dough is of perfect consistency, and I was happy to notice that my lemon-brownie donut was still spongy and moist after a day of carrying it around in my bag. The café itself is lovely too, with a few tables outside. Great homemade ice tea too!
