Meh/mediocre...and too much oil.

I went here with a Filipina friend who isn't vegan. We ordered at the same time, starting with drinks. Her plate came first, mine didn't, I told her not to wait. I ordered the bruschetta w/o the cow cheese and the stir fried tofu.

My tofu dish came a few minutes after her dish, instead of my appetizer coming with the drinks, or at least before the main meals. I reminded them about the bruschetta and when it eventually came, even though I had thought I had made it vegan based upon the contents on the menu and having removed the cow cheese, it still had some creamy dairy-based drizzle on it, so I declined it and they removed it from my bill.

Having seen the photos here of the stir fried tofu dish here, I brought a large carrot with me and asked them to cook it with the stir fry, because I needed some vegetable with the dish to balance it out - and I paid an extra 250 pesos to have it served with noodles.

The tofu was waaaaay too oily and without much taste. I ultimately asked for some soy sauce and they had Kikomman, which is mediocre, but I needed to add it for taste. (note - the Robinson's super market on the north end of Station 1 sells Braggs Amino Acid soy sauce, I would go there, buy it and keep it with for such situations, instead of accepting mediocre Kikomman).

But incredibly, even though I had brought a whole large carrot, they only added a few slivers to the dish and presumably threw out the rest of the carrot. Had they put in the whole carrot, at least it would have balanced the oiliness a bit and balanced out the dish overall. The noodles also were awful and in retrospect, may have had egg in them, which I didn't realize at the time.

As a vegan, I would **not** return here for the tofu dish, there are far better options on Boracay, including at least two places along the beach that serve Thai dishes with tofu.

Cons: totally mediocre stir fried tofu dish

The food was good but it had too much oil.

There were 3 vegan options in the mains, the vegan burger, vegan stir-fried tofu and vegan stir-fried noodles. We tried the tofu and noodles. The food was good taste wise except it had too much oil. When I say too much, as in we had to use tissue to absorb excess oil from the platter.

Pros: delicious vegan food., price is fair., servings are reasonable.

Cons: the food had too much oil., still very limited vegan/plant-based options

Lovely staff with Pizza and Filipino Style dishes

The Tofu dishes were great and the staff were happy to remove egg and adjust the menu.
