Fully vegan Quebec restaurant - Edit
Le Don is fully vegan and a must visit whilst in Quebec. The menu is varied and the food is fresh and delicious.
Read moreMy partner and I had the gnocchi with the vodka rose sauce, Thai coconut noodle soup, and shared the 11 layer chocolate gateaux for dessert (it was enormous and enough for 3 people). Service was a little on the slow side, but the staff were friendly and spoke good English.
We would absolutely return and highly recommend Le Don.

The food was absolutely delicious. Top quality vegan food with lovely flavours. My mum and dad had the set lunch menu, I had the ricotta ravioli and my kids had the dhal. We then had the passion fruit ‘cheesecake’ and chocolate cake for pudding, both were incredible but the chocolate cake was next level and enormous! Wow! Would love to go back again, sad we only found this place on our last day.

The service was great with friendly staff. The food was also great. Had lions mane mushroom, crispy cauliflower with artichoke paste and clear salad - all tasty. The dhal, fettuccine and mushroom pasta and pad Thai. Nice location.

Everything here is on point. We order half sized servings of gnocchi and pasta to save room for dessert. Totally worth it! The Quebecoise specialty, Chômeur, was a treat.

We had an assortment of dishes: cauliflower (choux fleur) which had a delicious creamy artichoke base, then the ravioli pesto which was all gone quickly due its scrumptiousness.

We went to Don Vegan three times during our ten day stay in the city and would highly recommend. The first night we tried the two person tasting menu and were not disappointed. They also have a very reasonably priced fixed lunch menu (you have a couple of choices). My favorite were the tostadas, but everything we had was so tasty. They have a nice shady outdoor seating area. Try to make reservations, but we were successful just walking in a couple of times.

We had dinner here one evening, and it was one of the best vegan meals that we’ve ever eaten. The food was fresh, flavorful, presented beautifully and reasonably priced. The staff were pleasant and helpful and the decor was delightful and fun. Highly recommend this establishment.

On a été goûter à quelques plats du nouveau menu. Tout est délicieux, le carpaccio est frais et goûte vraiment le saumon fumé, les raviolis et les gnocchis sont très bons (on prendrait un peu plus de saucisses dans les gnocchis par contre), les sauces sont délicieuses!

Don Vegan was a lovely 20 minute walk from our hotel which we really appreciated after a heart meal there. My Gnocci à la vodka was wonderful and my husband had the Pad Thai. A large outdoor eating area adds to the ambience. Highly recommend.

Excellent restaurant in Old Quebec - Edit
We loved this restaurant and ate there twice in a 3 day vacation! The location is perfect - we sat on the patio which faced a cobblestone pedestrian street. The food was delicious and there was a lunch special that was just perfect. We also ate dinner here our first night. Will go back on a weekend and try the brunch!

Je suis allée au brunch du Don pour un délicieux bagel au fauxmon, qui m’a réchauffé le cœur, accompagné de thé vert de chez Camilla Sinensis. De la bonne nourriture vegan servie en dans de bonnes portions. J’aurais mis 4.5 sur 5 mais l’application ne nous laisse pas ces demi-mesures. Un petit -.05 est enlevé car la musique interne peut être top forte et le service un tantinet long (mais à tout le moins récompensé par de la bonne nourriture).

We had made a reservation from the UK for dinner but stopped for lunch the day before as there wasn’t much vegan food available in the area. Lunch menu was excellent value & delicious.

The vibe was great, and so busy for a Tuesday night at the start of the season but it is the only vegan restaurant in the old town. Highly recommend booking in advance.

Excellent food and lots of options. We particularly loved the salads— we had Caesar salad and the beet tartar — but also enjoyed the fettuccine Alfredo with mushrooms and Annette’s stew. Surface was lovely, if a bit harried.
