My family is from Pérez Zeledón and as beautiful as the city is in the middle of the mountains, it is a hard place to be if you are a vegetarian. This juice bar was a relief, the only place with no meat in the menu that I could find, extremely clean, friendly staff, and quite affordable. The fruit mixes were surprisingly good and very soothing in the hot weather of San Isidro del General. One can have the juice with or without ice, with or without sweeteners, and with or without a straw. It has a place to sit or you can have your juice to go. Vegetarians just be aware that white sugar in Costa Rica is possibly not vegetarian, so ask your drink with honey, and if you are vegan, bring your own sweetener or have it without any added sugar.
Pros: nice juices, well-located, clean shop, affordable
Cons: alternatives to plastic cups are welcome
