Serves meat, vegan options available. European restaurant offering a vegan starter, main and dessert. Accepts cash. Please note that many businesses in Sweden are cashless. Open Mon-Fri 11:00-22:00, Sat 12:00-22:00.
I've enjoyed my two visits to this spacious, charming place. You don't get a whole lot of food, but the two little loaves of bread with some olive oil are a nice, filling addition to the course itself. At 159 sek, I can't say it's too expensive either (especially on a Saturday), as most of the non-vegan items are between 170 and 289 sek. Judging from my visits, it seems like they offer food from various kinds of cuisine. I can imagine Domtrappkällaren is a sound option when in need of a restaurant that caters for both vegans and omnis, say an event with your job.
I have yet to try the vegan dessert.. it's just that I don't feel all that encouraged when the menu simply states that one is supposed to ask staff. At least, it is perfectly clear what dishes are vegan or adaptable.
I had the vegan option for desert. It was OK but a bit boring. Strawberries, pickled rhubarb and vanilla ice-cream. Better then most options in other restaurants but I would have loved some cake or crunch with it.
