The meals were pretty messy and slapped together, but it’s that kind of place - perfect if you want a really quick meal. They have two labelled vegan options available as a burrito or in a bowl. If you’re starving get the bowl, because it’s huuuuuuuge! Have had much better Mexican though.

We stumbled across this place and were so pleasantly surprised at the vegan options, 2 kinds of soy meat, beans, guacamole, salad, two types of rice. The fillings were flavourful and the servings were huge, we had to take some home with us.

Had a delish vegan lovers burrito which was absolutely massive and really nice until I got sour cream. It might have been a vegan substitute but it had that dairy tang which the real stuff has, so I suspect that the busy burrito guy chucked in a scoopful without thinking. They had about fifty customers so it's hardly his fault and I don't like to waste so ate it anyway, but keep an eye out while it's being made.

At least I can say this is a great location, right off of Alexander Platz and they offer a few vegan options. Nonetheless, I could be convinced of some of the reviews based on people's enthusiasm combined with naivety, but as far as I can see for now, they're not very convincing. I went here with expectations based on reviews stating that the food is amazing, tasty and authentic, but left here feeling that the reviews come from people who have never had a Mission burrito, a burrito or probably even taste buds for that matter. I understand that this is Europe and importing products from beyond the boarders of Germany are next to impossible, but when other places in Berlin that don't specialise in burritos or even American food can do better, I can't say you even tried. Sort of like my "Mission burrito" that was half wrapped in paper (not foil), with dry unseasoned beans (not even a grain of salt) on a papery, cold flour wrap. At 5 EUR, after waiting in line to order and then given a ticket to pick up my order from a small cart sitting by the registers, but the person bringing the food out just sat it there and walked away without uttering a word so I had to ask someone behind the register which one of the items was mine, you might say my experience was lackluster - all the happy "American customer service smiles" in the world could not excuse that. If only there was a better ordering system, the food was seasoned a bit, they got some help in selecting ingredients and actually looked up "Mission burrito" or just sort of tried a bit, it would be alright. Aren't there any Californians in Berlin with whom they can consult? I think they can do better.

We picked our own ingredients: a wholegrain burrito with cilantro rice, marinated soy meat and avocado. Best burrito I ever had! No wonder people are cueing at this place. Definitely worth the wait, will return.

Stopped by here for a quick meal and wasn’t expecting much with regards to vegan options, but I was pleasantly surprised. You can either make your own burrito or salad from an extensive list of ingredients or choose from a list of pre-made options. The vegan burrito was the tastiest vegan burrito I have ever eaten and all the ingredients were fresh as they come. When sat down to wait for the food to be made the establishment started playing the best of Bob Marley. My quick bite then turned into a 30 minute chill out with great food and brilliant music. A real vegan thumbs up for the food, price and environment.

I was in need of a quick take out dinner and there was nothing else in the area so I popped inside Dolores and ordered the vegan friend burrito bowl. I really liked it even though I don't eat fast food, but this was truly tasty. Mildly spicy, nice portion, prepared quickly. Nice!

We had some delicious agua fresca, chips with salsa and burritos. The portions were very affordable and HUGE. Next time we’d go for a bowl, because those come with corn chips as part of it and seemed more manageable. It was all absolutely delicious, though, especially the salsa and guacamole. Even though the staff is really nice, the atmosphere isn’t that nice, partly due to the loud music. But you ca get them to go, so that’s easily remedied.
