Vegan gelato...mmmm!! - Edit
Love the flavors - tropical fruit options, chocolate... Just amazing. And this is a family business and just wonderful to support. We are in town for a month, and the owner feels like a friend now!

What kind of customer service is this? - Edit
I wanted to pay in cash with a 50 quetzales note. They didn't have change. 😂😑 When they asked me to pay by card, they added 5% "service charge". Like, you are a business? 😵💫

Pretty much an indication that you haven't embraced the reality of culture and life in Guatemala. Most places that take cards charge us what the credit card companies charge them. In the us, some small businesses do this too. And lots of small places in G. Don't have change for bigger bills....

Best gelato in Guatemala - Edit
They’ve got this ice cream shop in San Pedro and Panachajel too and I love it. You have to try their vegan chocolate ice cream or the choco mani, which is my favourite.
