It's a lovely, small restaurant. The menu changes, but they usually offer pancakes (crepes), cakes, cookies, salads and soups. All the food is delicious and always fresh. The prices are good :)
It can be a bit tricky to find the restaurant if you don't know the area though.

Charming cafe with scrumptious meals - Edit

The outside/picnick/bare essentials decor is very cute but does not prepare you for how delicious the food is. They serve breakfast all day from tofu scramble to an english breakfast which included a delicious vegan sausage, beans, a fried tomato and toast. The pâté in the sandwich was seasoned to perfection and had a creamy taste with a crumbly texture. What was particularly delicious was the chocolate mousse. As a chocolate mousse aficionado, I can confidently say I have never tasted mousse non vegan or vegan that is such a flawless harmony of chocolate flavours, smooth texture, and weightlessness.

great nice lovely charming - Edit

I'm a habitue of Dolce vegan and my order is always the same. Caprese tart is just out of control, they serve it with mayo/pesto plus salad. I wish I would be as amazing at cooking as the girls who are running Dolce Vegan. Gimme the recipe for caprese tart! The atmosphere is incredibly cosy, especially in the evening. The tables are covered with rosy-themed oilcloths (distinguishing mark) which could have been cheesy but it looks great, suits the place, white tables and the romantic/hipster vibe of the place.

tasty nice little buffet and other dishes - Edit

ENG I went there in January 2015 and had a buffet for 20 zl. Cold buffet (no warm dishes). On that day they had a "celery theme" buffet, so there were some 4 dishes based on celery. There was also a cabbage salad (not so good), and some very tasty pastes- like humus, vegan mayonnaise, pesto. Buffet also had (yeast) bread. Nice, tasty buffet, but in my opinion too small and could be easily expanded at low cost, by adding more dishes, for example something potato based. Also more raw food would be nice, as well as some cooked or stir fried vegetables.
A different food theme each day is a good idea, but I would serve it as a side attraction of the buffet, leaving main dishes the same (or almost the same) everyday. A sourdough bread on a buffet would be nice too.
Besides buffet, they have other food choices like dumplings, soup...
Also, if I was the owner, I would put a sign near the main road, so that people from there could get attracted to the place.

Inny temat przewodni szwedzkiego stolu to dobry pomysl, ale ja bym to zrobil jako boczna atrakcje , dajac te same (albo prawie takie same) dania kazdego dnia.

Pros: Tasty, Reasonably priced

Cons: not visible from the main road, Buffet could be richer

Hidden vegan haven - Edit

Dolce and Vegan moved to Saska Kepa in October 2014 and have since then altered a bit their menu. They now have several breakfast sets (Full English, Green Plates and Tofu Scramble), several lunch options (mainly sandwiches, toasts, salads) and, of course, different cakes, sweets and desserts. They also have nice coffee, milkshakes and juices.

We had two breakfast sets, the cheese-mushroom toast, and the peanut butter cheese cake. Everything was super tasty.

On top of this, the café is super cosy, the staff is friendly, there are several board games around and also books about vegan cooking and lifestyle.

A warm and delicious haven for rainy weekends.

Tasty and expensive - Edit

The cakes are crazy and very interesting. But together with a drink they cost 22zl already. (4,50 €)

Nice Cakes! But hard to find - Edit

Dolce and Vegan was a pleasant place to visit, once we could find it! Be sure to look around the back of the building (on the opposite side of the main street), and you'll find it tucked away in a corner. If you find it, it's worth it! The cakes were quite nice; my parents and I tried a chocolate cake, a pound cake with vegan cream cheese and blueberries, and a nectarine tart. All were delicious :) The only downside was that there is only outdoor seating, which means you'll get a dose of second-hand smoke if there are smokers around. Overall, worth it!

Pros: great cakes, large selection

Cons: hard to find, outdoor location = second-hand smoke

Nice new place - Edit

Dolce and Vegan is a nice, simple and relaxed little cafe, serving some soups, quiches, cakes and freshly mixed smoothies. I had a quiche, a smoothie and a cake, and everything tasted delicious.

The cafe has just recently opened and is in an exposed, open location. They probably gonna move to an indoor place in winter.

One could notice that the location was new, some professionalism was missing. However, the staff was very friendly and made one feel welcome. I would return to this place, if visiting again Warsaw.

Pros: Nice food, Inexpensive, Relaxed

Cons: Open location
