Entirely vegan/plant based, so try everything! I have only been twice but this place is a new fav since moving to the GC 2 weeks ago.

You have to try the Bang Bang Popcorn Chicken, it's unbeatable!
Pros: 100% Vegan, Commendable customer service, Very reasonable prices, cheap beer and house wine
Cons: Cocktails use cheap alcohol so not so nice., Not much parking nearby

Doko Demo is located below the Burleigh Gold Coast Motel. The chef puts his true love for fine Vegan food. Into every piece of art that he creates. Highly recommended!!!!

My fav Vegetarian/Vegan Restaurant on Gold Coast - Edit
I have been here many times now & even had my Birthday party here a few months ago. They do any dish vegan or vegetarian and my favorite is the duck pizza with Hoisin sauce. The nachos are awesome too. Loved the sweet potato chips. Just had the mushroom burger last night & as I don't like spicy, they were happy to take off the chilli jam. I also don't like tomatoes and they were happy to change it to onion instead. Staff are always lovely, friendly and helpful.

We were a hard group to cater for with a vegan, gluten free vegetarian and as well as some one allergic to nuts. They handled it all easily.
Read moreThe vegan beef lasagna was indistinguishable from a full carne version and the ‘pot plant’ dessert was a highlight complete with tiny spade - try it.
100% chance of going there again.
When we asked if something had nuts in it the chef personally rushed out to make sure everything was ok which was amazing. You can’t buy caring.

Staff are gorgeously friendly and really listen to patron's feedback. Delicious food, with choice of lovely garden area or cosy ambient tables inside. Would reccomend to anyone, and will be back when in the area.

Great food, staff and restaurant - Edit
Was close to our hotel so we ended up going 4 times. They have such an interesting selection of foods, lots of vegan options. Everything was tasty, wasn't disappointed with anything. Really enjoyed the lamb gyro. Probably would recommend going for dinner but honestly it's good all day. Staff were extremely welcoming which was really nice.

We've been here a few times now. Took a party of 10 there recently, a couple were meat eaters who had no idea the "chicken" was plant based until told. The look on one guys face was priceless. Yea, dude, you don't need to eat animals to enjoy tasty food. Service is great with very friendly staff. Highly recommended!

Food was amazing and beautifully presented. Staff were very helpful and accommodating to our dietary requirements. The chef even came out to confirm a few things for us without us even asking! The ambience was really lovely and our overall experience was very positive. We will be back! Thank you!

Best milkshake ever - Edit
My Vegan bff and I decided to try somewhere new for brunch (they do breakfast and lunch all day). We got chocolate milkshakes and omg they were literally amazing! The girl that served us was so sweet and helpful & our food was delicious

I have been do DokoDemo V three times in the last week. There is lots of vegan options and the menus is clearly marked which meals are vegan and which can be altered to be vegan. The staff a super friendly!!! Vegan nachos, vegan chicken and pork tacos, vegan hotdog, laksa and the Mexican chicken poke bowl were all amazing!!! They even have vegan popcorn chicken and vegan calamari. So good!!!!!

Globally inspired vegetarian and vegan venue located on the Gold Coast Highway at Miami, close to Christine Avenue. The staff were very friendly and enthusiastic. The chef was happy to veganise one of the menu items not clearly marked as vegan although it seemed to be already vegan (cauli and broccoli wrap). The wrap was very tasty with overtones of smoke flavour. My omni companion was also very impressed with the mock pork tacos. The sweet potato fries were awesome.
