I had a Mushroom Burger and Sticky Date Pudding and they were both delicious! With lots of variety on the menu, I'm sure that you could go many times and enjoy a great selection of dishes.

A new favourite restaurant on the Gold Coast for me! - Edit
My partner and I loved everything we ordered here, we even came back for some take away on our way to the airport at the end of our trip. The decor and vibe of the place is also really nice and the staff are lovely.

We loved visiting Doko Demo V and sampling from their massive menu. The Sizzling Mongolian Beef was a huge hit and we also loved the pizza. Would definitely go again!

Just popped in for take-away but will be back. The food was freshly cooked and flavourful. And they had a big range of vegan deserts that weren’t all raw. Danish’s, brownies, sticky date pudding, muffins and more.

After visiting Doko Demo V for the first time today, I almost want to lower my star rating to everywhere else I have eaten haha. The serving sizes were so generous, it was such good value for money, we took so many leftovers home for dinner. The taste was amazing. Owners/staff were really friendly. Atmosphere is very relaxed. We had caramel milkshakes, hawaiian pizza, wedges, "fish" & chips and then choc brownie & sticky date pudding (both with icecream) for dessert. 100% vegan restaurant with such an extensive menu (Burgers, pizzas, asian food, pies, lasagne/pasta, desserts etc). 6 out of 5 and cannot wait to return. Only negative is that we live in Brisbane and Doko Domo V is on the Gold Coast (sad face).

Huge variety of delicious food - Edit
Have eaten here a few times and loved everything we've tried. There is a massive menu which covers a variety of cuisines that are all done well. The staff are lovely and very accommodating. Even though it's in an industrial area, they've made it a beautiful little escape. Love that it's pet friendly too, and most importantly, 100% vegan. Wish we lived closer to come more often and make our way through the huge menu - choosing is hard!

I was blown away by how many options (all vegan) there were at Doko Demo V. I had the Works Burger (the fried “egg” was delicious!) and a Cheeky Monkey milkshake which was sooo nice, and a warmed up blueberry muffin. The place is so cute, the food was well presented, and the staff were lovely, with the food at a good price for the portion sizes. This place is right on my way to university so I will definitely be coming more often to try as many things as possible!

We had a simple dinner here. The service was faultless. The flavours are put together nicely, the colours are great, and the food is filling without being heavy. I would have preferred a little more protein in each of the two meals we sampled, but the portion sizes are generous.
Read moreThe location of this wonderful little restaurant, however, is not very pleasant. It's on a corner of a retail complex, on a main road (without even any foot traffic), and its great internal ambience seems really out of place somehow.
I hope that this location is just a temporary home for this great vegan business, and that in due course we will find it somewhere more aligned with its character.

We have been trying to have a meal here for the last 3 years - since moving to Brisbane. We finally got here and are so glad we did!

We had the wedges (perfectly herbed), the Lamb Souvlaki and Butter Chicken. The food was delicious and there were no leftovers despite the generous servings.
The new venue is bright and airy, a nice refuge on a hot summer day.
Well worth the trip.

5 stars for the Baos - Edit
The charcoal baos were delicious which gives this a 5 star review. We also had the teriyaki tofu (needed a bit of seasoning) and no meat lasagne which were good.
Read moreLarge portions, we couldn’t eat it all. The menu is huge with 2 types of lasagne, 3 types of spaghetti, lots of pizzas, Lots of burgers, a mish mash of everything. Lots of faux meat on the menu so if you’re a fan of that then you’ll love it. My only suggestion would be to reduce the menu size and focus on less dishes at the next level.
Has a bar so a wine with dinner was nice.
