Das Dognvill ist ein sehr schönes kleines Restaurant/ Bar über 2 Etagen. Leider konnte der Burger nicht überzeugen, die Buns waren sehr trocken, die Burger sind Recht klein. Die Pommes und Süßkartoffelpommes waren gut.

As vegan burgers go this was pretty good! The patty was aubergine and mushroom. Fries come with Aioli and they had a vegan version. Vegan milkshake (oat milk) was good. Overall staff were knowledgable, could be improved by more vegan options on menu.

The burgers were good - but limited choice. All vegan burgers are charged at 15NOK extra because they have to use Gluten Free bread. Sadly this is quite dry, although not bad for gluten free!

Leckerer veganer Burger - Edit
Der vegane Burger mit Aubergine und Avocado („Golden Child“) war sehr lecker. Ebenso gibt es leckere knusprige Pommes und wählbar hierzu vegane Chili-Mayo (sehr lecker) und vegane Aioli. Unsere Bedienung war ebenfalls super freundlich. Die Atmosphäre im Lokal ist urig und gemütlich.

The burgers are very average but the place itself has a great atmosphere and I would definitely return to use it as a meeting space with friends over a few drinks rather than as a restaurant.

Our burgers were nothing short of epic, we went for the vegetable ones which were actually made out of veg and beans! You can also veganise the rest of the menu by switching to a beyond patty but I loved having something where you could taste the mix of ingredients.

Stopped here for some lunch on a Monday as most other places in Stavanger seemed to be closed. I was pleased to be able to get a bean burger here, but you can change to beyond meat if you prefer. It was delicious and chock full of fresh avocado, sauce and salad. I got a vegan chocolate milkshake to wash it down, which was also very tasty. Service was very quick and friendly. It was expensive, working out at approx £24 for one burger and a shake but I think that's a typical price in Norway unfortunately.

The broccolini and fries were so good- even a vegan aioli to go with them. They also had sweet potato fries that looked amazing but didn’t get to try.
Also the vegan milkshakes were the best, didn’t have that weird taste a lot of vegan shakes can have and the small was plenty filling!

Nice and filling. I had a very good “vegan Viking burger”, sweet potato fries with vegan aioli. There are vegan smoothies and sides and salads. Recommended!

We went here for lunch after a fjord cruise. They don't do beyond burgers anymore, so the options are a vegan Viking burger or you can make the vegetarian burger vegan if you switch the bread. We had one of each, the vegetarian burger was my favourite of the two, it was a vegetable patty. They also do vegan milkshakes and I had the chocolate one which was so yum! It's a good option for a Monday, when there isn't an awful lot of choice for vegans in Stavanger.

Best meal, not best burger - Edit
The place was awesome, I agree with previous reviews and the bread almost feels low quality, but the meal was still great. I ordered the viking because I was happy to eat a veggie burger and not a meat replacement type burger. Ordered with Sweet potato french fries and v. aioli and it was sooooo goood! I would come back there and ask to switch the avocado in the burger with ailo, and then it would probably be amazing. I enjoyed the chocolate milkshake as well. I would come back when I feel like having a full meal - dessert, the sweet potato on the side etc, not the best burger but the best meal I've had while in the city.

Not the best vegan food but good place for Stavenger - Edit
As travelers, we tried several restaurants for vegan options and it doesn’t seem like there are many good places in Stavenger. We had the vegan Viking burger with a beyond meat burger instead of the eggplant and it was a good burger, not awesome but good. I feel like the bread could be softer if they changed the recipe though. I wasn’t a fan of their vegan Mayo but at least they do have some! You can also have vegan Mayo with your fries. They have a chocolate vegan milkshake and a vanilla one as well. You can swap any patty for the beyond meat one, they also have two other vegetarian burgers that can be made vegan I think. They will adapt to you very easily, I think you could even take a non vegan burger and ask for changes to make them vegan, just don’t forget to ask with the vegan bread.

They have 2 options that are vegetarian, one vegan, and I think the other two can be made vegan if you request this! They also offer vegan aoli and vegan chilli mayo, which is a huge plus for me, because most burger places the only vegan sauce they have is ketchup. They also offer vegan milkshake, AND there can make any burger on the menu with beyond burger!

I tried the mushroom burger, with sweet potato fries and aioli + huge vanilla milkshake (not on menu, so you must ask) and pudding for dessert. Great experience, totally recommend!!

The Vegan Viking burger was excellent - someone really put thought into creating a tasty burger with good texture - yum! Definitely get the sweet potato fries with vegan aioli to go with it. Two other vegetarian burgers on the menu that can be made vegan (see photo)

They have 3 vegetarian burgers, one of which is vegan, and the other two can easily be made vegan. The Vegan Viking is delicious and fulfilling (especially if you order it with sweet potato fries with vegan aioli, yum!). They also have a very rich vegan chocolate mousse topped with strawberry coulis. It's delicious, but after a big burger, my friend and I couldn't even finish half of one. Still, worth it!

The vegan burger here is great, among the better ones I've ever had in regards to taste alone, although maybe they could make it a bit bigger. Definitely go for an additional side (they are ordered separately) if you're hungry. We didn't try the vegan chocolate mousse dessert, probably should have.
