I love Döner Summer! - Edit
I’ve eaten at their branch in Yes, Manchester a number of times but I was so excited to try the extended menu they do elsewhere. It didn’t disappoint!
Read moreI had the what’s garlic in French burger with some tots. Portions sizes are decent (I couldn’t finish my tots!) and the flavours are great. I think they do some of the best vegan chicken going.

I've heard alot about Döner Summer and been dieing to try it but always alittle to much out of the way.
Read morePopped to Huddersfield for a vegan festival which was absolutely [censored] but gave us a chance to try this place! Soooo glad we did, so heavenly.
Great options, amazing portion sizes and insane flavours. Couldn't eat it all so ate the rest for a snack later on. Still as good cold.
Highly recommended 👌

Best chick’n burger I’ve ever had! - Edit
I often find seitan chicken a bit ropey but this was so good. I had the What’s Garlic In French burger and my (omni) partner had the Spicy Buttermylk Chick’n with Salt & Pepper. Both left full, feeling it was excellent value for money and will definitely return!

Excellent if you love fake meat/ vegan junk food - Edit
Whilst looking for some vegan food in my hometown, I was pleasantly surprised to learn that Venn Street Social (previously the Parish Pump/Pub of my youth) has an all vegan menu. If you're into vegan substitute meat, then this is the place for you. Mainly substitute chicken (I presume it is Seitan) done different ways, but kebabs etc too. I had chicken wings (?) In some sort of korean bbq sauce, it was absolutely to die for! I can't stop thinking about it. If you're not into that kind of vegan food, I wouldn't bother. Probably not the healthiest option out there, but nice for a treat. My meat eating companion absolutely loved it. Extra marks for the amazing hospitality, the friendliest Yorkshire welcome will await you!

Gorgeous meals and cocktails in the centre of Huddersfield. We had a range of kebabs and fake chicken. Everything was a treat. Fresh and filling. The Aero-Smythe cocktail was one to come back for.

Finally got to visit this place, although it's been open around a month!

Prices not unreasonable, and the portions were pretty big.
Three of us dined and we all had different things and they were all excellent.
Two of us ended up leaving a little, so there was plenty of food.
It was a little quiet when we ent in (Sunday afternoon), but more people were entering as we finished and left.
Will definitely be back to try some of the other dishes!

Had to do a ‘hit n run’ type visit unfortunately but over three hours in the car and with just half an hour to spare, I knew what I had to do.
