Nice outside seating with an okay burger

I liked the view and the outside seating. The burger was not that special, but okay.

Pros: Nice view, Cosy piece of Oslo, Vegan aioli was nice

Cons: Burger itself was okay but not special

Vegan Milkshakes and burgers!!

Very nice setting with high tables and polite staff. You should book a table in advance as it is quite crowded.

Tasty burger

I really enjoyed The Viking vegan burger, even though it was falling apart. But I appreciated the chef created this creative and tasty burger rather than mimicking dead animals. Their fries were excellent and can be ordered with vegan aioli (very nice!) or vegan chili mayo (didn’t try). They also offer a veggie burger based on quinoa which may be veganised. As written before, their hypocritical slogan “cows are cool” almost made me leave, but the food was actually good and the waiter was helpful.

Pros: 1 vegan burger + 1 veganisable, Vegan aioli , Fries

Cons: Slogan 🤢🤮

Actual veggie burger

I was doubtful that a restaurant that says at the top of its menu, “Cows are cool” inches away from a boast that its “meat is ground to perfection,” would have a vegan option. But I was happily proved wrong.

I like the Beyond Burger, but it’s a nice change of pace to have an actual veggie burger made of veggies. The Vegan Viking is made of smoked eggplant, beans, and portobello mushrooms. The bun could have held a more substantial patty (be warned, it will fall apart) but overall it was a enjoyable, tasty burger. Thanks to the chef who came up with this recipe.

Pros: A couple of vegan options , Good location

Not much choice but still delicious!

Lovely staff squeezed us in when they were incredibly busy, and were so helpful. only one vegan burger on the menu which was yummy (just a bit spicy for my liking!). wasn’t a fan of the chia pudding but that’s just my preference.

Pros: beautiful location, helpful staff

Cons: very little choice
