Cozy family-run place, but not the best food - Edit
[EDIT]: Unfortunately this place has changed. There is no longer a vegan platter for two, it is individual vegan platters with a smaller variety of dishes. The shiro wat and the red lentil dish both were heavily tomato-based in an overpowering way, so that tomato was the strongest flavor. Disappointing for sure. However, the prices were still reasonable and the staff was very friendly.
Read more[ORIGINAL]: This place has such a cozy atmosphere; it's very small with beautiful decorations on the walls. We got the vegan platter for two, which came with a larger variety of dishes than some other restaurants offer in their vegan platters. Not my favorite shiro wat in the city, but the platter generally was very good. A recommendation if you're looking to enjoy some fresh Eritrean food in a family-run establishment.
I will note that there was no bathroom available though.

Eritrean restaurant with yummie vegan options - Edit
I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. We ended up there by chance and now order regularly. If you are new to Eritrean cuisine, take the vegan combo platter! Honestly one of my favorite spots in Frankfurt.
