The best falafel - Edit
This falafel now sits atop my top falafel list, of all the countries I’ve visited. The service was wonderful, the hummus also perfect. I’d come back to Berlin just for this.

Ok, but not that great - Edit
We had the one vegan main course and also the falafel and hummus side dish. Was alright but not exceptionally great.

Delicious Israeli food - Edit
Too many small dishes to choose from so I asked for a vegan selection (€16) of salads, houmous, baba ganoush and falafel with pita. It was very filling and very tasty

Very cozy restaurant with a variety of vegan food - Edit
I would generally recommend calling beforehand so you actually get a seat during rush hour but the restaurant is overall very cozy and has a wonderful atmosphere.
Read moreThe hummus plate we ordered wasn't quite as good as we had hoped but the sweet potato fries really were delicious! The homemade lemonade with ginger, though, perhaps was the best item we had ordered. Overall, both my boyfriend and I found the food a little too greasy but not unreasonably and I myself follow an oil-free diet so that could be why.
The prices were okay, all vegan dishes were clearly marked as such, and I felt like the personnel wouldn't be opposed to customising dishes either. :)
In conclusion it definitely was a good experience!
Pros: Great variety of vegan food, Cozy atmosphere, Nice staff
Cons: Food a little greasy, Very popular / full restaurant, Wine NOT marked as vegan (could be asked, I guess)

Delicious lentil soup - Edit
Really really nice place although a bit far from the centre of the city. The prices are ok—not too expensive—but the portions are a little bit small for what they charge for them.
Read moreI would personally recommend the lentil soup, super tasty and just for 4,50 €! My friends had Taboulé (rated by them 3,5 out of 5) and the Hähnchen Schaschlik (4/5) the bigger portion with two chicken sticks. The smaller one (with just one stick) isn't really worthwhile...
Pros: Staff, Atmosphere, Chips (Sweet potato and normal ones)
Cons: Price, Portions

Very vegan-friendly, amazing hummus, falafel, tahini-aubergine dish (similar to baba ganoush - Edit
We found this place on the way to another restaurant in the yoga centre and returned the following day for a visit. The restaurant is very vegan-friendly (the wall and menu both state "We love vegan". Lots of vegan options. Amazing traditional, creamy hummus. Friendly staff. Thank you Djimalaya!

Delicious Israeli Food - Edit
Djimalaya is an Israeli restaurant – they serve meat but the vegan options are marked in the menu, so they’re easy to spot. We indulged in a mixture of their sharers: hummus, a plate of olives and pickled gherkins, sweet potato fries, homemade pita and falafel. Soo good!

yummy hummus - Edit
I have to admit that this is my best humus that I found in Berlin so far. The pita bred was fresh and my belly was fully satisfied.
