A veggie haven amidst the curried meat - Edit
We managed to arrive too late for the buffet service (which ends at 3pm weekdays and 6pm on weekends) So we had a meal from the menu. The menu does not list vegan options but the waiter was helpful and knew what we wanted. The friendly chef came out during our meal and talked to us about the food and described the ingredients and how it was cooked! The food was good we asked for very mild options and got them. An excellent lentil dahl. We'll go back to try the buffet.
This is one of the only "Indian" restaurants on Brick Lane that does not employ guys to stand outside and try to cajole you into their restaurant, a definite plus that deserves reward!
Pros: Moderate price, Tasty food, Friendly staff
Cons: Buffet limited to daytime
