digital menu - Edit
The menu is now via WeChat, you need to scan a QR code, and while the names of the items are in English, all the descriptions are in Chinese. The staff that were there at the time didn't speak any English.
Read moreI tried the carrot cake, it was nothing special, but I was happy to support this kind of place.
The cafe itself is clean and quiet.
Pros: that a place like this even exists in Wuxi, clean, quiet
Cons: the carrot cake didn't meet up to my expectations

Vegan oasis.. 🌱 - Edit
Eventually got round to visiting the Divine Planet cafe today. If you're vegan or just love quality coffee then trust me, you NEED to check this place out!
Read moreTried the carrot and the pumpkin cake which were both sublime! Really missed my coffee and cake hit since I arrived in China! Dairy free options seem to be non existent, even in Shanghai.
The coffee was on point and they even had Oatly Barista which is definitely the best non diary alternative for milk.
Place is immaculate and has a great vibe with really friendly staff.
Got to meet Leo the owner who seems like a really nice guy, very knowledgeable about his craft.
You do have to pay for the quality as prices are above what you would pay in one of the high street chains.
Just think of it like this.. When you're scanning Alipay or WeChat you are investing in saving the planet and the animals! A very small price to pay and you're not lining the pocket of Starbucks or Costa. We should always support the small local businesses especially the ones that are embracing veganism.. 🌱🤘👍
Pros: Vegan CAKE!!!
Cons: Pricey

Vegan in Wuxi - Edit
I’ve been living in Wuxi for the past 20 months, and this is the first “Western” vegan place that has opened. I eat a plant-based diet, so I was very excited to try out the new cafe. It was such a joy to order a chocolate chip cookie, blueberry muffin, and a flat white from a completely vegan menu in English! As an added bonus, the manager/owner was so friendly! Even if you’re not vegan, this is a great place to go to get “Western” baked goods in Wuxi. I can’t wait until more vegan foods are added to the menu! Here is the WeChat URL: https://weixin.keruyun.com/brand/index?shopId=810254958&toHome=0
