Breakfast- other location - Edit

They have two locations I was at the one not listed here, I was at the one near the Botanic gardens! They have two vegan brekkie options I had the avocado sour dough toast, very yummy and filled me up for a good amount of time! The water station is also very funky- I dunno if that's a weird comment but it just is funky!

Its decent - Edit

Quite a nice, new style coffee house serving lunch, traybakes and what have you. Its the post 2010 norm for coffee shops: woodwork on the walls and a deli style spin on the lunch menu.

There's a few veggie and vegan offerings, I got the fritter which tasted like a big falafel with a bean chilli, kimchi and a poached egg on top which was pretty good, and certainly must have taken more effort than a pannini or a wrap to put together.

OK price wise, attended as Indigo have scrapped selling food over the summer which to my mind is a bit of a weird decision.

OK - Edit

There's no shortage of coffee in stranmillis. District doesn't offer anything very different, but it's certainly no mom-and-pop type cafe and gives the impression of upward mobility. There are a good few tables for the space. All in all, it's good but nothing too special.

Will return for food but shall skip the coffee next time... - Edit

Had a gorgeous brunch of sourdough toast, avocado, dukkah and chilli-mango chutney at District today (Wednesday, 19 April 2017). Fantastic to see so many vegan and vegetarian dishes on the menu including breakfasts served until 3pm, soups, sandwiches, salads, quiche and dahl. Non-dairy milks are available for coffees including soy, almond and oat for a 20p surcharge. Service is via order/ pay at the counter then grab a table and wait for staff to bring your food to you. This is a small cafe/ deli with limited seating which is a bit of a drawback, however there are some tables outside as well. Food was delicious and reasonably priced with the only disappointment being the Americano coffee which was bitter and too strong. I will definitely return to District for food but shall skip the coffee next time and opt for a cold drink instead.
