Words cannot describe how absolutely perfect Dinger’s is. They have perfectly nailed the deli sandwich. Every bite is pure bliss. The bread, the veggies, the sauce, the house meats ugghhhh, I want to bathe in their sandwiches. Please, just do yourself a favor and order one of everything. Dinger’s is a national treasure and should be protected at all costs!

There are so many menu items I want to try at Dinger’s but I can only order the same thing every time i go there because it is so good i dream about it! The Italian sandwich. Homemade deli meats with cheese lettuce tomato mayo & peppers. So good! If i had one criticism it would be that they used to use a different kind of vegan cheese that was freaking phenomenal! It tasted exactly like real provolone cheese. I WISH they still used the old brand, & whatever that was, i wish i knew!

If you are lucky enough to be there when they have the cheesesteak I highly recommend! It’s a bit messy but so tasty. Oregon grinder was just as good as well.

Had the vegball and the cuban and they were both so good 😍 vegball was very messy to eat. It was raining when we went but there's a covered seating area with picnic tables that's heated. Definitely coming back to try everything else

I went here because of the great reviews but I’ll be honest, I didn’t think a sandwich could be all that special. I was definitely wrong. I had the Oregon Grinder and it was probably the best sandwich I’ve ever had. I offered my non-vegan brother-in-law a bite and he hasn’t stopped thinking about it. Definitely worth a visit and we will return any time we are in the Portland area.

I had the Italian cold cut. Wow, it was very reminiscent of deli style sandwiches from my youth. Even had the salt and pepper, peperoncini peppers and vinegar dressing. The bread was crispy on the outside, but not too tough and squished nicely to get full bites. The deli slices were meaty and the cheese was probably Chao or something. Really, it hit the spot. Would love to try some of the other sandwiches some other day. $10 spot for the two portioned sandwich.

I tried this place because it’s close to where I’m staying. It’s a food truck in a little food truck alley. Super friendly staff with great recommendations. I tried the Cuban even though it’s not the type of food I’d normally try, it was delicious! I am hoping to go back and try something else during my trip!

This is our first trip to Portland. We found Dinger’s Deli on Happy Cow. It is about a mile from where we’re staying, so we decided to walk. We each got an Oregon Grinder. To say it was delicious would be an understatement. The flavors of the meats, cheese, peppers, and dressing worked perfectly together. Dinger’s is a must try!!

This place has the best vegan interpretation of the Cuban medianoche sandwich I've ever had! The lunchmeat is made in house and everything is very fresh and flavorful. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the neighborhood.
