Mall Madness - Edit
I didn't realize the flavorful Soy Noodle Salad was actually sliced tofu in the shape of noodles. The String Beans were generously coated with minced garlic. The Vegan Shanghai Rice Cakes were chewy rice ovalettes sauteed with crunchy cabbage, fresh spinach, and a blend of soy sauce and house seasonings. The Vegan Buns were filled with bean curd, baby bok choy, shiitake mushrooms, wood ear mushrooms, glass noodles, and jicama. They were fluffy, but bland. The Red Bean & Mochi Xiao Long Bao were chewy and slightly sweet. Overall, an incredible meal.

Overpriced & small portions - Edit
Visited for lunch on a weekday and ordered a vegetable entree for $14. Food arrived quickly and piping hot, but the portion size was very small. Just a little plate of sautéed cabbage and wafer-thin garlic. No rice, no noodles. I asked the server if they’d given me a side order by mistake. They shook their head no and then sent a manager over to reiterate that this was the intended portion size. No plans to return.

Vegan Bao - Edit
This restaurant offers a vegan version of each of its artful menu offerings, like bao, wontons and noodles. The presentation is sublime and the food delicious with simple condiments like fresh shredded ginger, soy sauce and vinegar to compliment. Vegetable sides like broccoli with garlic or ginger green beans are sublime. It is easy to identify the vegan versions and your server will work to veganize dishes not on the vegan menu.

Cons: In the mall; that’s just weird , Same filling for variety of vegan buns
