Great dumplings - Edit
Can’t agree with the previous review saying they don’t offer vegan and not accommodating. It’s always about how you ask and treat staff in my opinion.
Read moreService was very professional, helpful and kind! Of course a bit rushed because huge lines. But 30 min wait was worth it for the vegan dumplings.
Menu has vegetarian label only.
Staff confirmed dumplings are vegan and also advised not to order steamed / fried veggies like spinach with garlic because the spinach and other veggies were with chicken broth - to be fair there was no veg label on these dishes but thought I might ask.
The veggie dumplings were perfectly steamed and had a generous amount of filling (6 or 10pcs).
Three stars cause you could definitely make an effort and label properly and not just vegetarian and something like stir fry veggies would be no issue to do vegan.

No vegan menu - Edit
They have a veg menu, out of which very few options were available when I went there. Asked for vegan recommendations and they refused saying nothing is vegan.

A few good vegan options - Edit
It’s nice to have this airport branch of Din Tai Fung for a pre- or post-flight bite when the veg places are closed. Look for the “vegetarian” section of the menu, as most of those items are vegan. The spinach with garlic is surprisingly nice. The veg dumplings are good and the red bean rice roll is a treat.

Best buns!! - Edit
Didn’t realize this was a chain but wow I hope I’m somewhere where I find another one again soon!! I got all the vegan dumplings and buns and they were all slammin! I was assured that the vegetarian menu is all vegan unless eggs are specified. I so appreciate clearly labeled options!! I wish I would have got some greens on the side. Next time for sure. And I can’t wait!!
