Nha hang chay veg eatery in Chu Se. Small shop offering the typical buffet of rice, vegetables, mock meat, and soup plus a few other choices like pho. Open Mon-Sun 6:00am-7:00pm.
Stopped here on the way to Kon Tum for lunch. Portion was perhaps a little small as the previous reviewer said, but all of it was very tasty. The side soup I was given was more exciting than many I've had in chay restaurants, with some tasty mushrooms in it.
For me 30k is standard for a rice plate, so to pay 25k is on the cheaper side I'd say.
The lady running the place was also very friendly and smiley, and asked me if I was enjoying the food.
For vegans: the 'Chao Mon' side condiment on the table contains milk curd. Sadly, as it was super tasty and I only realised after when I Google translated the ingredients!
The food was quite good although the portion size was small. I went there with a fried, we both ordered a buffet plate (rice + different veggies and mock meat). We got a plate of rice each but only one plate of toppings for two. And we paid 25000 vnd each which is quite pricey for this kind of eatery.
Moreover, There was a Buddhist mantra take playing in the background which was nice at first but the same sentence was repeated over and over again for the whole time we were there...
It's a nice place to stop if you are going from Pleiku to Phú Cường Waterfall as it's on the main road.
