I didn’t know what to get since I do not know much about meat. 😅 The staff were friendly and helped me pick out some things to try. I tried the gyro wrap and it was so good! Very moist and flavorful. I picked up some gyro and teewurst to bring home to my friends.

Tolle Wurst-Auslage, interessante Geschmacksrichtungen (wir haben uns für Paprika-Chili und Knoblauch entschieden). Es gibt Brat-Würstchen, Aufschnitt, Bouletten, Mett und verschiedenes "auf die Hand". Alles (?) auf Seitanbasis.

Wir haben uns hier durch vieles durch probiert: verschiedene Würste, das Sellerie Schnitzel, das vegane Mett und die alkoholfreien Aperitife. Alles wirklich sehr lecker. Am besten hat mir mit Abstand die Trüffel-schwarze Bohnen Wurst gefallen, hab davon auch gleich was mit nach Hause genommen. Auch der alkoholfreie spicy ginger und der amaretto drink waren beide sehr lecker. 😍

Delicious sausages! - Edit
This was my first visit to a vegan butcher and I thought it was pretty cool. They had a selection of cookbooks and sauces and a table to sit and eat at (you can order food to eat in). They also had a deli counter displaying the delicious range of sausages and other products they had for sale. Some of the sausages you can buy whole and the others you by a portion of depending on how much you want. We went for a Rauchertofu (smoked tofu) sausage, Erbsen-Pilz (pea and mushroom) sausage and 100g Truffel (truffle) sausage, which came to around €11. All three sausages were really delicious and I would definitely buy them again!

Ich hatte den Mix aus 3 Salaten (Vleisch-, Kartoffel- und Olivensalat) und sie waren alle auf ihre Art lecker! Der Olivensalat war leider etwas sehr salzig, ansonsten köstlich. Die Frikadelle ist derzeit im Angebot und zu dieser muss man sagen: was für ein unerwartet interessanter Geschmack! Mit Kümmel und mehr und mit kleinen fruchtig-süßen, dunklen Stücken.. waren es Zwiebeln oder Rosinen? Auf jeden Fall ging das ins Orientalische. Und das Pestobrot ist ein weicher, warmer, aromatischer Traum...

It was unique to experience a vegan butcher's and we are glad we went. The staff spoke English and explained all the flavours to us, helped us pick the best items from their offer. We got some cold cuts, sausages and potato salad. The meaty products did not really taste like meat but it might be a good thing for some! They are rather healthy, ingredients like olives and dried tomatoes are used. Our favourite was the potato salad anyway😄We also bought some jarred products to take home with us and we didn't try them yet.

I bought sausages, seitan patties, meat salad and potato salad for a barbecue with my family. The potato salad was extremely delicious, the meat salad was tasty as well but in my opinion it had way too many gherkins in it.
Read moreThe sausages and patties however unfortunately weren't to my liking. Maybe it's because I don't like seitan but I can't say it for sure since these were my first seitan products I ever had. The patty was OK after I covered it in BBQ sauce but I simply couldn't enjoy the sausages. I hope it's really just because of my personal taste since other people do enjoy it. Maybe products made out of tempeh, peas or tofu would be a good idea for those who aren't friends with seitan :)

Got a lasagna. Was a bit cold as I arrived after the lunch hours. Still very tasty. I have to come back another time to try the different „meat“ options.

I have been here more times than I can count. I absolutely love the potato salads, the bacon and the Leberwurst. The latter ones even surprised my non vegan family and they liked them a lot.
