Auch kurz vor Schluss gab es noch Kuchen zur Auswahl. Erdbeer-Sahne Kuchen war super lecker. Ein Stück kostet 4€, war okay für die Größe. Das Personal war sehr lieb und man fühlt sich direkt willkommen.

Small and a little bit hidden - Edit
We had very tasty dishes together with good drinks and a nice atmosphere outside. As the restaurant is in a corner of a place it does not feel like being in a crowded city. You can sit and watch the people walking by in some distance. The dishes tast very fresh and the staff is friendly and helpful. This "secret place" is a recommendation to seat & eat.

This place is a gem! It's a bit unconventional as it doesn't have a typical menu, but the owner is fantastic and she tells you what you can have. We had a "no chicken" salad, a tofu burger with fries and apricot cake and everything was delicious.

Amazing all-vegan place in Mainz - Edit
Came here to have a small lunch and there were vegan samosas filled with mashed potatoes and a mango dip which was super super nice. The lovely owner offered me a special couscous (not sure if you can get it from the regular menu) which was also very good, perfectly seasoned and topped with delicious pan-fried veggies. I took home three pieces of cakes, which were chocolate cake, carrot cake and an apple crumble. The pieces were very generously sized and I especially recommend the carrot cake and the crumble. If you are in Mainz, definitely go check out this place!

This is my absolute favorite café/restaurant to visit in Mainz. It’s a beautiful café, very cosy and has the loveliest lady running it! The food is always great, no exception. The cakes are literally next level heaven and the savory foods are always delicious and she’s super diverse with the frequently changing menu. She had a special Easter breakfast which was amazing and also offers every kind of plant based milk, every kind of coffee (whipped coffee/dalgona as well)

Not easy to find, even if you've looked it up on the map - since there is no sign out, it's next to offices, and the door might be closed - but it's so worth going! The understatement of this place is due to the owner's philosophy: Keep it simple and friendly, rely on personal connections rather than big advertisement. Owner is always up for a chat, the dog is quite big but super peaceful (and most recently deaf, sadly!) - but since the owner is running this on her own, the place might be shut during the opening hours, again without any signs out, because she is shopping - but even then it's worth checking in later, because she might just have gone shopping real quick

Das Café ist ein bisschen versteckt, was schade ist weil die Lage eigentlich super ist und viele Leute gar nicht wissen dass es hier ein Café gibt. Wir waren nachmittags da und hatten sehr leckeren Apfelkuchen und Cappuccino. Für meinen Neffen gab es sogar einen Babyccino, was ich sehr nett fand. Werde auf jeden Fall wieder kommen und die Suppen testen.

This little café is absolutely adorable - the food is delish and the owner is super sweet. My friend and I both had lentil soup and a hot drink and shared a piece of cake and we only paid 20€ in total, which is so affordable for home-made food! 10/10 would recommend. (It is a bit difficult to spot - there’s no signs or anything, but it’s located exactly where the map says it is.)

This is a great little cafe and the only all-vegan place in Mainz-Altstadt. They always offer a selction of home made cakes as well as coffee (cappuchino etc. with almond milk). They also have a daily changing dish which costs about 8 EUR and is a good and filling lunch option.

I‘ve been there 3 times the past week and I’ve always had the coconut mandarine cake cause it’s just sooo good. It’s a really nice atmosphere. Really calm and quiet area. Nice to sit outside in summer.
