I live in the neighborhood and I don't go here

This is an expensive place with almost no vegan options. Note even the hummus plate isn't vegan. Anyone needing to eat in this area should go to the sushi place a couple doors down and get some other cuddle and cucumber rolls. Or even better go to Ars Coffee across the street and get the veggie bagel. It's only $6. Not amazing but better than anything at this place. The other option is to go to Cafe Morey's. They don't have a lot but they mark clearly what's vegan. I usually get the fried rice and the salad. They also have fruit and fries. But really the better option would be to either go to barefoot Beach Cafe or walk over to kapahulu and check out the vegan ramen at Onoya.

Local spot

Get out of Waikiki and into a little local area, they had great ‘awa (Kava) and the vegan sandwich was delicious!

Pros: Some vegan options, Local

Diamond Head Cove

I ordered the Mana and really enjoyed it. I really appreciated them substituting the bee pollen and honey for agave at no extra charge…so no vegan tax here...

Really good açaí bowls

Had a really good açaí bowl, even though they use honey and bee polen you can remove it. Everything was very tasty and the service was good, no one was rude or unpleasant to us.

Pros: Really good açai bowl, Vegan protein available as an add on

Worst customer service ever

Açaí bowls are below average. Pretty much made from pile of slop. Fruit on top is simply cut and dumped. The manager, with braces, is the rudest person I’ve ever seen in a restaurant. Period. She rolls her eyes, sighs and gives dirt looks to all customers.... she made a customer’s bowl wrong (no bananas, extra strawberries) and she was SO INCREDIBLY RUDE to this woman. I just sat there in disbelief. She yelled at another person, TWICE, as they left because they didn’t self bus their table. Like yelled.... across the restaurant. Not to mention all the dirty looks, heavy sighs and lack of “thank you’s” and “you’re welcome’s” to everyone. I called the owner to share my experience... buuuuut.... she never called back.

Pros: None

Cons: Crappy manager and HORRIBLE customer service , Crappy food, Um... more crappy service

Good Acai Berry Bowl

This place has a great acai berry bowl that can be ordered vegan by asking for it without honey or bee pollen. It has acai smoothie made with soymilk, granola, banana and strawberry chunks, and it is delicious. They were out of hummus so I didn't get to try that. Not very many food options, especially for vegans. Just hummus and guacamole. Also serves kava. Go there for smoothies and kava mostly, it's not really a restaurant.

Acai Addiction

What do you get when you mix organic Acai berry sorbet, organic soymilk, organic granola with pumpkin seeds, organic berries and bananas?
The Rio bowl, that is creates a craving so seductive, it's scary.
Beware the Kava water ;)

Pros: live music some nights, irie atmosphere, delish and interesting food

Cons: slow, slow, slow, little seating
