A Vacation Must for Vegans and Vegetarians - Edit
Delicious meals and friendly and accommodating service at Dewey Beer company made our dinner here one of the highlights of our vacation. I had the Vegan Cheesesteak (I asked to add lettuce and tomato, which they happily did) with fries. The sandwich was amazing and not at all greasy. My husband had the black bean burger with salt and vinegar fries. Everything was amazing! I also had a fruit beer: Thrills - Strawberry, Watermelon, Lemonade. I typically don’t like beer, but this was excellent. We wanted to watch the Phillies game while we were there and the waitress said to let the bartender know. We did and he even let us choose which screen we wanted it on. I highly recommend this restaurant!!

Great food! - Edit
They have a LOT of vegan options. The food is incredible. I got the Vegan Sausage & Peppers and my girlfriend got the Vegan Crab Cake sandwich and they were excellent. We also got the Brussels sprouts (no bacon makes them vegan) and they were really good as well.

Only vegan friendly brewery in area - Edit
I looked at each menu for every brewery, brew pub, and ale house in the Rehoboth, Lewes, and Dewey area. This is the best place by far for hungry beer drinking vegans.

Diverse options and knowledgeable staff - Edit
Got the pretzel (held the beer mustard and queso for normal mustard, but vegan cheese dip is available) and the impossible beef and broccoli lo mein. Both were super delicious. Portions are big. The waiter was very knowledgeable and willing to help with vegan modifications/asking the kitchen if items were vegan. They offer modifications on the menu to turn items vegan and have a variety of different mock meats to pick from. The bar/dining area is a little loud, however they had a very nice outdoor patio. Only downside was the marking on the menu is only for vegetarian options, not vegan (though they will help you make the dish vegan if needed).

best vegan options in dewey - Edit
Dewey Beer Co is the ONLY place in Dewey Beach to get a good vegan meal that isn’t just fries or a bun-less burger. I loveee the beyond sausage sandwich (I sub beer mustard for bbq sauce to make it vegan). It used to come with vegan cheese sauce a few years ago but they got rid of it unfortunately. It’s still delicious but I wish they would bring back the vegan cheese sauce! They also have several other vegan options that I haven’t tried yet including a beyond beef and broccoli lo mein and a tofu dish. They have the impossible burger as well but I think the brioche bun isn’t vegan so make sure you request it on a hoagie roll instead. Overall, I’m so thankful for their vegan options and I highly recommend checking this place out if you’re in town.

This is the saddest thing ever! They have so many amazing options in the past but now only this (which you have to know to ask for) & the noodles!

Flavorful Imposible burger - Edit
The burger had great flavor. I was disappointed though because the menu had no vegan option indicators, the impossible patty option wasn’t listed and they were out of the Beyond sausage sandwich (which was not on the menu).

Meatless Monday’s! - Edit
We are in Dewey beach for the week and just happened to check this place out for beers. Lucky for me, there are Meatless Monday specials, 25% off all vegetarian/vegan options. The Thrills sours are delicious and lactose free too! Highly recommend the bbq jackfruit, and will prob come back for the Beyond beef and broccoli special this week.

Just ok vegan sausage - Edit
Glad to have options when eating out with Omni friends, but just ok. Too much “Teese” cheese. Did not order the Beyond Burger because I was not positive the roll was vegan.

Variety of Options - Edit
Always great service with a variety of vegan and vegetarian options. The latest menu has a section specifically labeled "vegetarian and vegan" with the vegan options specifically labeled as such. I had the vegan beef and broccoli and my husband had the vegan sausage sandwich...both were great and we would get them again. Cheers to Dewey for their many options!

A few very good vegan options - Edit
I’ve been twice and had the vegan sausage, and it’s pretty good. They use Teese brand vegan cheese, and if you haven’t tried Teese, you are in for a treat! So good. They have a few other options that I haven’t tried.

We were told a few months ago that they don’t take carry out orders after 6:30pm. Not sure if that’s still the case, but worth checking.
There’s a few tables for outdoor seating. It was kind of jarring to see how busy they are with indoor seating during the pandemic, but we got in and out with our order. You can also get beer to go from a cooler when you pick up food to go.

The staff was super cool about accommodating vegan requests and they do a great job about having a variety of good vegan options (not just the usual veggie burger). Appreciate this spot!

Good food and beer! - Edit
I went with my family and we tried three different vegan offerings: the vegan curry, Impossible burger, and the cold noodle lo mein. All three were fantastic! The noodle bowl was perfect for the hot summer night, and the impossible burger was cooked well. The curry was also excellent, and still good reheated the next day! Our waitress was very knowledgeable about the menu and vegan options.

Great spot for veg pub food/beer - Edit
This microbrewery makes great vegan pub food. It can be a bit rich since most of the options include Beyond Meat, so if you want something fresher, get the cold noodles. Those are DELISH. Also, if you're feeling bold, you can ask them to veganize some menu items for you. A hint: if they still have the giant pretzel on the menu, it's vegan, just ask for no butter and vegan cheese sauce on the side. You're welcome. It's my favorite thing to get there. Their beer is good, just make sure to get the ones without lactose in them. I would ask about that. Overall, a great place to get a satisfying meal in Dewey and one of my favorites in the area.

Yummy beach food - Edit
I got the vegan cold noodle salad which was served in a takeout container with chopsticks because I was tired of Beyond Meat because we’d already had that several other times this vacation at TGI Friday’s and Lefty’s. The fresh veggies in it hit the spot. My man got the Beyond Meat sausage with pepper, onions, and vegan nacho cheese and loved it. He also got several of their little 5 oz beer samples and loved those as well. The interior has a cool modern beachy vibe. The only downside to this place was the parking. There were only 5 or so spots next to the building (all were taken); the parking on the side streets requires ParkMobile payment that’s $10 for 24 hours, no option to just park for an hour or two. We didn’t see any other choice so that’s what we had to do. (Technically now we can go back and park down there up until 3pm today though if we wanted to...)
