Good vegan pizzas - Edit
We had the pico de gallows guacamole (which was vegan) and some vegan pizzas. The margherita pizza was great! They also had more vegan options that we didn’t try (like hummus and focaccia and a vegan sandwich). This is a great place to eat as a vegan visiting the north island

Pizza + Beer😄 - Edit
Great location looking over the harbour with the most bizarre flavours of pizza! We tried the Dilly-Lish and the Jamaican me crazy with jerk tofu! And of course flights of beer to try them all at once. Only reason I wouldn’t give it 5 stars as it was pretty pricey.

Vegan pizza + local beer - Edit
This restaurant is situated right near the harbour and ferry and is a favourite hangout for locals and tourists alike. Outdoor patio indoor seating. All pizzas can be made dairy free with Violife and while service is usually quite slow, staff are accommodating to help you order a vegan meal.

Great find - Edit
It’s awesome to have some vegan options in such a small town. The pizza and kombucha were awesome. We had the dill pickle pizza made vegan and strawberry kombucha. The Cesar was ok but nothing crazy. Overall was a nice find.

Loved it! Would rate a 5 if I could! - Edit
I went back a few times, and was so surprised than in a remote community I could find delicious (and specifically marked) vegan items. I ordered the mushroom pizza, ceasar salad (which is always vegan, even though not marked - it’s made with cashew base and delicious sourdough croutons) and I even got the vegan tofu tacos twice. I almost didn’t order them because I saw someone on here didn’t like it but I’m glad I did because I loved them! 10/10 recommend.

Nice to have vegan options on the north island - Edit
Clearly marked vegan options on the menu, which feels good as it makes it seem like they actually know what vegan options really mean! The pizza can all be made vegan, at the time we went in they were using Violife cheese. We had a pizza special which had pickles on it and sunflower seed crema, which was SO good. In addition we tried the jerk Tofu tacos, which were not overly flavorful, but still... it's hard to complain when there are SO FEW places to eat in the area, let alone places with vegan options that aren't just the fries or spinach salad (hold the feta).

So many vegan options! - Edit
There are so many vegan options here I had to go back 3 days in a row to try them all. They have vegan tacos, vegan caesar salad (AMAZING), and vegan pizzas made with small batch cashew cheese.
