Solid Bagels; nice shop - Edit

DIB's food is good, but their storefront is GREAT; probably my favorite place to sit and hang out. It's bright, open, and the people who work there are all SUPER NICE.

The best bagel they make, IMHO, is the rosemary olive oil, though most of their varieties are great. They often have a pretzel bagel on offer, which is delicious.

They don't have a dairy-free cream cheese, which is a bit of a bummer, but they have other vegan spread options instead. They have the fairly standard peanut butter, hummus, and avocado, with some more interesting options as well. The Happy Cow summary mentions the butternut squash tahini (which is now a seasonal offering) and lentil spread, which I think changes periodically, but is usually on the menu.

Overall this place is great for a casual breakfast, or as a nice place to hang out for a bit (if you're turned off by the coffee shop down the street).

Pros: Good Food Quality, Reasonable prices, Great Place to sit

Cons: No Vegan Cream Cheese (other spreads available), Busy on weekends, Coffee isn't great

delish! - Edit

The spicy lentil spread is sooo good! I always get the roasted garlic bagel with that topping on it. Perfection.

Best Bagels in Town - Edit

Our first impression of this place was excellent as we arrived 15 minutes before it was scheduled to open, but they opened the doors for us and we very friendly. The bagels are the best in metro Detroit. They also offer several vegan spreads and toppings for your bagel, which are well labeled. The atmosphere is also great, remaining cozy while also industrial with its high ceilings and brick walls. There are books to borrow and games for kids if needed. Makes you feel at home.

Pros: Family friendly, Nice atmosphere, Great food
