Since all cafes are closed I didn’t have a chance to visit this location. However I found the nuggets and schnitzel from the Vegetarian Butcher available at Rewe!

I came here on my last day in Berlin hoping for vegan Bratwurst, so I was pretty disappointed to find out it contains eggs! Didn’t realise it wasn’t a fully vegan place.

I was shocked to see it’s size when it arrived - there’s so much food for €8! It’s pretty greasy, but very tasty.
I wish the guy serving had told me what everything was - I’m the only one here - but he’s not been particularly chatty..!
Would I come again? Probably not, but it’s been nice.
Pros: Platter is good value

Disappointing. We had the butcher's salad and a vegan burger menu amongst the not so many vegan options. Both were quite bland. It was cold to sit there. There are a lot of better vegan burgers in Berlin!

The Vegan Crispy Chicken Burger was very tasty. The fries were also really good. The woman behind the counter was incredibly friendly, and proud of the food she served.

Ich hatte die veg. Currywurst (No.1, doppelte Portion) und die schmeckt ausgezeichnet. Dazu „Fries“, die angenehm an Bratkartoffeln erinnern, sowie eine Limonade - und ich war auf‘s beste versorgt. Hat gut geschmeckt! Zudem sind die Preise absolut in Ordnung.

I got the chicken nugget burger which tastes great. And sweet potato chips are crispy outside, soft inside and super tasty with the veg mayo. Definitely recommend this cozy place!

We got the vegan fried chicken burger with sweet potatoes fries and the vegan tuna wrap with salad and two unique sodas. Everything was super tasty and the vegan tuna tasted very similar to real tuna! Cozy atmosphere and fast and friendly service.

Good place for a quick bite. The crispy "chicken" were indeed very crispy, although the burger it didn't hold the form very well. The taste was good, however, and the sweet potato fries were super good.

One of the most beautiful experiences from Berlin. Nice staff girl who speaks very nice english. Its tiny place but you can sit inside and outside. The real Berlin for tourists who are vegan. Also their vegan currywurst is top!

Ich wollte den vegetarischen Metzger schon länger mal ausprobieren und habe dort heute den veganen Crispy Chicken Bürger mit Süßkartoffelpommes probiert. Die Brötchenhälften waren leider kalt und und auch insgesamt war der Burger nicht warm. Tomaten und Gurken wurden nur spärlich verwendet. Das Crispy-Chicken-Patty und die Süßkartoffelpommes an sich waren geschmacklich gut, aber insgesamt ist es dann doch nicht zu empfehlen. Die Bedienung war leider auch sehr lustlos und unkommunikativ.

Love the idea of a cruelty-free butchers with lots of meaty options, and this is *nearly* it.
Read moreVegan options are plentiful and clearly marked, and friendly staff knew which dips etc we could have. We had a nice burger meal with pulled beef burger, great chips (with skin, scoop shaped so you can shovel scrummy dips) and drink.
Bought some meat from their freezer section to bring home too.
Would have totally loved it if it was totally cruelty-free.

Dutch deliciousness in Berlinstyle - Edit
De Vegetarische Slager originates from The Hague; I've visited it often and buy regularly its products in the supermarktes in the Netherlands. This store, the first one outside the Nederlands, - dare I say it? - is maybe even better than the original one because of its looks ;-) Food is the same: very good, very tasty. Staff is nice.
