Its an airport option (the only one) - Edit
The avocado and sun-dried tomato sandwich was fine for an expensive airport option. If you can plan ahead to not have to eat at the Porto airport that is the better choice. Croissants are advertised as vegetarian- hence perhaps the confusion if someone was told they were vegan.

Only place in airport with vegan options - Edit
The only vegan sandwich option in the airport was an expensive avocado, hummus , sun-dried tomato and lettuce baguette from Deli&CIA . It was well filled and tasty , would recommend

Awful poke, just dry rice - Edit
Hate to admit that i had to throw half away, which is something i never do, specially in a food-scarce-airport-situation. That should tell you how good i was. Its basically 80% rice (not the usual sushi poke rice but a dry weird seasond rice that ruined it all)

Few vegan options - Edit
They told me none of the pastries were vegan, not even the croissants.
Read moreThey did have a vegan poke bowl and quinoa salad. Not labeled, had to check the ingredients.
Overpriced, but like almost everything in airports.

Last resort - Edit
I'm sorry fellow vegans, nobody should have to eat here.
Read moreThey do not understand the difference between vegan and vegetarian, everything is crazy overpriced and the coffee is dreadful.
But this is the airport and options are scarce...

Please change description - Edit
The croissants are not vegan or the staff doesn’t understand the distinction. But just browsing through and reading the description, it’s misleading.

Better than nothing - Edit
I had a baguette with avocado, dried tomatoes and salad. The taste was fine but they were really stingy with the filling (I had mostly bread).

Croissant is not vegan! - Edit
I asked for the vegan croissant and the staff said the croissant was not vegan, just vegetarian… Overall the ingredients in all of their stuff are ambiguous. Would not return

At least something - Edit
The food looked very unappealing and was absolutely overpriced for what it was but at least there were some vegan choices. On the bright side everything was quite healthy but if I wanted to build a proper meal out of it, I would have to spend a lot on very poor quality food. The vegetables were not exactly fresh and the food was quite bland but not terribly so. It’s good something was available at all

From what I see there s not many options in the airport. This place offers two vegan croissants and a vegetables wrap. You should ask which croissants are vegan since they are not labelled. There is another Deli&Cia After the security control

More choice than expected - Edit
There were three salad boxes which all seemed to be vegan. We picked the heaviest which was a poke. Lots of rice. Some soy protein and fresh fruits and vegetables. after ordering I noticed a special including a soup and drink for just over 10euro. I suspect it was vegan but didn’t check. A good choice.

Vegan choice in an airport! - Edit
Shocked to see a vegan croissant being advertised, in an airport of all places - usually somewhere vegans go to starve 😂. It was good, certainly better than the small bland veggie wrap which was mostly lettuce. Labelling isn’t great with terms like ‘100% vegetarian’ being used - you need to read the ingredients in Portuguese on packaged food to be sure. Don’t know why it’s possible to give 5 stars for this place as it serves meat and fish.

Vegan croissant ??? - Edit
So the board advertises a vegan croissant however it is not labelled as such on the counter. But then the vegan sandwiches are not labelled as such either - they are just 'hummus and vegetable' etc. Perhaps the cynic in me is so used to checking labels and having to be 100% convinced that everything is vegan before consuming it. I guess from a legal perspective they can't say it's vegan if it is not...?
Read moreAnywho I ate the croissant and it didn't taste particularly buttery so I'd hazard a guess that it probably was made with margarine or something instead.
Coffee wasn't great - super bitter but hey, it's airport coffee. Didn't try the sandwiches. It was 5am. Oh - they had looooooaads of vegan KitKats. Might explain why they rarer than rocking horse sh*t in the UK. ;)

Woooohoooo vegan croissant - Edit
I was happily surprised the moment I saw the ‘vegan croissant menu’-option. The vegan croissant was really good. Not the best I’ve ever had, but 8/10. They even served oat milk or soy milk 🙏🏼. The orange juice was also good. Yay, happy.
