Really great Vegan food and plenty of choice! - Edit
Ask the waiter what’s vegan and they will happily tell you in English. A whole vegetarian section with plenty of vegan options. Could be better if they were marked on the menu but it wasn’t a problem as I could ask the waiter who was careful to make sure I didn’t eat anything by accident when my meat eater friend’s food arrived to the table.

Delicious Indian food with vegan options - Edit
I really enjoyed the two vegan options I ordered (spinach and corn and the eggplant and tomato). My friend had the vegetarian malar kofta and really enjoyed that too. Highly recommend trying this place in Xian!

This was our first indian meal we had had since starting our travels and all the curries we had were very tasty. As stated in the description, ask for non dairy ingredients to be used to veganise it!
Read moreUnfortunately, there was a big group of guys walk in for a birthday who took over the music, putting it on way too loud for a sit down meal and kept changing it every few seconds which was slightly annoying! Thankfully we had nearly finished our meal at this point!

Great alternative to Chinese food! - Edit
If you are in Xi'an and want an alternative to the endless bowls of rice and noodles you have been consuming head over to Delhi Darbar. This authentic Indian restaurant is delicious and vegan friendly (their cashew cream sauce is actually cashew cream, not cashews and milk!).
