Finally! A worthy chef and restaurant experience!

We actually gave up on leaving reviews because the experience and or food was so underwhelming. This place has it all! Great food, home made chutney! Excellent naan and everything was cooked and seasoned perfectly. Glass of lemon water right at the start, great chai, amazing appetizers. I just can’t say enough about this place. If more places existed like this we would eat out more….we wound up here accidentally after visiting friends. Five ⭐️- give this place a try. We are already looking forward to coming back.

Pros: Excellent food, Excellent service, Excellent experience

Cons: Can’t find one fault

It’s good

“V” marks the vegan options. We had the Dal, Chana Masala, and Vegan Roti. Jazzed up the Dal with lemon juice. Spiced up the Chana Masala to add more heat. The Roti was perfectly prepared. Nice outdoor patio on a sunny day.

Decent Indian food with many vegan options

Started with the sweet & sour cauliflower which were tasty but didn’t taste fresh at all. The sauce tasted like a mix of Magi ketchup and Heinz ketchup. Shared the chana masala (the whole spices left in the dish were a bit overpowering) and the yellow dal tadka which was good. The only vegan bread option is the roji roti which I asked for without ghee or butter. We also had the coconut rice which was tasty. All in all, a decent meal.

Just OK

This restaurant seems to have rebranded or changed hands, as it is now called Aabha Indian Cuisine. They had several vegan options, but I did have to ask which of the vegetarian options did not contain dairy.

I ended up getting the kale pakodas and the panch dal(yellow lentils). The pakodas were pretty good. They were crispy and came with 3 different dipping sauces. The lentils were ok, but not good enough for me to eat the leftovers later. There was very little flavor to it, which is so unexpected for an Indian restaurant.

The service was excellent, however. The server was knowledgeable about ingredients and they kept our water glasses full.

Pros: Many vegetarian options, several vegan ones. , Knowledgeable & attentive staff

Cons: Food was bland

7 Vegan labeled dishes

We had ALL of their Vegan options except for the okra. All were very good and much lighter than traditional Indian food. (Without the butter, ghee and cream). Apparently this restaurant is ‘Nepalese’ and we thoroughly enjoyed the meal. Worthy of 5 stars!

Pros: Vegetable coconut curry, Vegetable biryani, Chana masala

Cons: Mulligatawny soup was underwhelming and weak
