Der Name Vegetariano ist etwas irreführend, werden neben vegetarischen Speisen auch fleischhaltige Gerichte angeboten. Umso bedauerlicher, dass man für das vegetarische Almuerzo - Angebot dann auch noch mehr bezahlt.

We ate here in the evening twice so shared 4 different main courses. All of them were good but we especially enjoyed the stuffed roasted aubergine with almond cheese and the baba ganoush and hummus. Many vegan options.

Cash only. Slow-food made to order. We enjoyed our meals. We ordered the picadillo plate and the menu, which was a vegan lasagna today and yum! It’s actually more expensive for the area (Popayán) since other veggie places go for around 10,000, but the food is quite nice. The amarillos were amazing, but I could skip the fake meat on the plate.

Empty place. Not a single visitor on this Tuesday evening. Lots of religious books and objects from a bygone colonial era. Teenage girl at the counter. Limited English.

Service time = Colombian.
Food and drinks come at the same time after maybe 25-30 minutes. Reasonable meal and not expensive. I liked the combined flavors.
I wanted to go for a fresh juice, but I’m not too fond of their tap water, so I went for a beer.

Fully vegan lunchtime menu del día including a vegetable soup, a main with lentil meatballs, creamy mushroom sauce, coriander rice, patacones and a salad, a sorbet-like desert and a tea, we loved it!

Nice food and staff. I think they close early on Saturdays so watch out for that. We went on Tuesday and it was fine but was closed on Saturday evening when we tried the first time.
