So fresh and wonderful - Edit
All vegan except honey and bee pillen. I got a pina colada with rum. And an acai bowl. Really delicious. And the service is superb. Highly recommend.

Vegan Haven in PR - Edit
Great cafe and juice bar adjacent to El Yunque National Forest. Not many vegan options in this area of PR, so it's also a good stop off on the way to Luquillo or eastern part of island. Great, fresh vegan food, cute hammock patio, and very friendly staff.

Refreshing & satisfying - Edit
So happy to have found this place! Many healthful and satiating items. My picks are the Back to Balance (turmeric) smoothie, Berry Bueno açaí bowl, and the empanadas filled with black beans, lentils, and quinoa. As some have mentioned, all ingredients are vegan except for honey and bee pollen, which are easily left out of your smoothie or bowl.

Pros: Healthful, delicious food, Great outdoor vibe, Supports local animal rescue orgs

Great stop to or from El Yunque - Edit
Right on the main street of Palmer as you head to or from PR 3, Degree 18 is a happy, colorful and inviting place to stop. Great smoothies (some have honey in them, though so be sure to ask, they will be happy to make it without). And a few eating options too, like veggie burgers, vegan empanadas, hummus etc. Very friendly and inviting, the staff is very warm and welcoming.. Oh, and I loved the parchas (passionfruit) growing right on the fence.

Best end of hike snack - Edit
After hiking for a few hours in the morning I was ecstatic to find a vegan place nearby. My whole family decided to try their smoothie bowls (and a smoothie) and they do not disappoint! I was so hungry, I didn’t even think to take a photo before I was completely done. They are also 0 waste if you eat in!

Vegan Oasis - Edit
Saw their sign when leaving El Yunque and decided to check them out. What an incredible little place with a phenomenal smoothie and juice menu and a small food menu. We had the most delicious smoothies, empanadas, and some delicious coconut energy balls. Vegan oasis just outside the National Forest!

vegans dream come true AND delicious for non vegans too! - Edit
It's hard to travel as vegans. Choices are limited. Tostones, mofongo, rice and beans are yummy but only for so long. This place was awesome. Friendly, great music and so much yummy and fresh and healthy vegan food!! Even my finicky 4 and 6 year old vegans LOVED it!!

AMAZING! - Edit
Stumbled upon this Juice Bar after a great hike in El Yunque. Just started a smoothie shred challenge and this place was perfect. They customized my smoothies without any problems and were happy to do so!! All of the food was beyond amazing!! Hummus (homemade in front of our eyes!), Lentil burger wraps with an amazing side spinach salad, and energy balls to die for!!! ( I went back twice and took so many leftover back to my hotel). If you are in PR you have to go to this place!!!!

great place - Edit
Loved this place for fresh and healthy options. We had an acai bowl while there and it was top notch. The atmosphere was awesome. We loved the feel of the place. The owner was very friendly and helped us pick which trails we wanted to hike in El Yunque. Don't let the construction on nearby streets stop you. Visit here for sure!

Super Good! - Edit
Great music, clean seating, and super accommodating. We came in and customized out smoothies for no extra cost. While we didn't try the bowls they are also available. They do use honey and bee pollen but these can be omitted upon request. Gluten free options available. We'll be sure to stop by next time we're in town.
