I consider myself a very whimsical person, so when I saw this place on happy cow got excited seeing their style, decor, etc.
Read moreFirst day went to pickup my order to enjoy it in the hotel, got a donut and a slice of cake. Both looked amazing, but they were VERY disappointing. Sponge was so hard and filling of the cake tasted cheap, frosting was beyond sweet. Donut was again so hard, mind you I got it from the freshly made display instead of the “a day old” one.
Fine, I believe in second chances lol so next day I went after work, got a baked potato but I think I would have done a better job, absolutely mediocre. The only good thing was the coke I drank 🥲 got a cookie that I tried later that night, so bland, and dry af.
Mind you during my last visit I actually seated in there… the place is very whimsical (yay), but everything looks dirty and beyond dusty, EVERYTHING. The building has a smell of wet wood, mold and canola.
I honestly think they could do better

This place has a fun (inclusive!) vibe, friendly staff, and is located right in downtown Helena.

great vegan options,
i had the beef n chz which was the most popular option and it was amazing, and made with plant based options. tried the chzy roll which has a hotdog in it, pretty good but not as good as the beef n chz. cake was delightful

Dear Potato is a mostly plant based bakery with majority of options being vegan, including vegan donuts, cakes, soups, breads and stuffed knish type foods. Everything was so tasty. Staff is great. Highly recommended!!

All options are vegetarian with many vegan options. The atmosphere is super unique and fun. Every single thing we tried was amazing. They also have gluten free options. They also have a large selection of desserts.

Wow. Amazing vegan options - Edit
Delicious vegan pierogi and vegan desserts! So much of their stuff is vegan with vegan meats and cheeses. I had a beef pierogi with cabbage and it was delicious. They also have a lot of baked goods - cinnamon rolls, pineapple upside down cake, cherry turnovers.
