Future Michelin star potential- amazing tasting menu.

I have been twice and thoroughly enjoyed each visit. The first occasion I had the five course lunch and the second time the seven course dinner menu. My review is more thorough and critical than usual but only because this place has Michelin star potential ⭐

The stand out dishes were the: the baked cauliflower, the kohl rabi, the smoked celeriac, frozen bergamot and mitaki mushroom. These dishes were exceptional. Smartly designed and well executed. An example was the smoked celeriac tasted like the flavors of sweet smoked fish I used to enjoy when I ate fish. Using apple, seaweed etc. in no way was it trying to replicate fish instead it was celebrating the flavors of the ocean and land together.

I loved the flavor and thought that has went into each dish. It was a delight eating refined elegant vegan food.

As this place sells meat I can only give it four stars. Regardless currently it would remain at 4 *. It is an expensive restaurant as I would expect for this style of cooking. I feel there were some errors in service and food and the two visits highlighted inconsistencies example being the second visit my chilled dessert was served frozen and was not enjoyable, on every visit they have given us the meat menu despite booking vegan.

The waiter and waitresses were friendly and informative.

I look forward to returning and supporting this restaurant. I am glad they have valued and prioritized including a vegan menu into their tasting meal. Thank you.
