Typical pre-packed "health food" - Edit
If youre not in the mood for something heavy you can most likely go here to grab something. There are multiple vegan options, Sweet and savoury as well. Plus its not something considered junk food.
Read moreBut the taste is quite bland. The food is pre-packed so obviously not super fresh. The portion sizes are a bit small, especially considering the price.
So Yeah, if youre at the train station and dont want to go to McDonalds you can stop here, but there are other options.
Pros: Good amount of vegan options

Comment section makes it look underwhelming, still I gave it a try... - Edit
result: Confirmation.
Read moreRecently I went there at 9AM, because they offered a mango curry to Veganuary. I've started with that Vegan Sweet Potato Sandwich. The preview pic made me do this, where it looked opulently stuffed and containing half way decent bread. But what looked so promising at home on the website, then in front of the counter at that place turned out to be very sparely stuffed, very flat. Basically it was just some disappointingly chemical-industry-like bread, with vanishingly less sweet potato, red cabbage, and other stuff in between. It was warmed up, tasted average - too salty by the bread - and cost 5,25 €, not to mention the cost you pay with your HEALTH!
Well, nxt: Now the mango curry!
But what's that? I've been told while ordering, that they don't offer it, they are a franchise, and not all on the website has to be offered by all franchises. Next disappointment.
Okay, then let's order the vegan falafel wrap?
Nope, not available at 9AM, only later. Next disappointment.
Well, okay… what about the vegan falafel bowl?
Nope, only from 10:30 on. Seriously? Look at me, trying HARD to leave my money there for vegan food, but fail, because it takes two for realizing that—not just my side, also the side of Dean & David.
Well, then, all of a sudden, indeed, they were able to offer me the vegan falafel wrap, I've ordered with words making clear I've searched this place for warm vegan meals. Now, guess what happened.
Wrap was cold.
Lacking in being able to satisfy desire for warm food, lacking typical hot-cold contrast in wraps and similar foods between a cool, fresh, crunchy, aromatic-sour salad half, and a hot, savory half ranging from sweet potatoes to vegan meat.
I've went to that place 1 time, it was so underwhelming, that I will never go to that place again. Home cooking: 1000 times better. Wildcard competition restaurant - any other restaurant offering vegan food: More worth it a try.

Nice falafel wrap and banana bread - Edit
This shop is great for a snack. They don’t have a huge range of vegan options but the falafel wrap is okay and the banana bread is delicious.

Tasty food, but could be better - Edit
They have a few vegan options, but all of them seem to lack significant protein. Thai red curry was good, but I was missing some tofu with it! Instead there were a few soy beans on it, but nothing really substantial. I ordered with a side salad which they prepared with a non-vegan dressing. Staff didn’t really seem to understand what I wanted when I asked to change the dressing.

Good vegan options - Edit
Had a few curries which you could have with tofu, and a couple of sandwiches.
Read moreThe yellow tofu curry was tasty and filling, I added avocado and peanuts which made it taste really fresh.

So so - Edit
There weren’t many options as vegan or vegetarian as i expected but of course it’s always good to find a place at least has vegan options. I ate an oriental vegan sandwich and it was ok. Not so perfect nor so bad. There are salads, bowls or sandwiches in options. The place exists in Bonn, Köln and also Düsseldorf. Mostly easy to access as being in central train stations or in city center.

A bit disappointing - Edit
Normally, I like Dean & David but this one didn't impress me at all. They didn't have certain items such as the curries and the staff weren't very friendly.
Read moreIt's good to have a few vegan options if you need to grab something in-between trains, as the sandwiches and salads are okay.
Pros: Good for a quick bite at the main station
Cons: Poor service, Few options
