We enjoyed the beer, but loved the sconnie poutine and loaded nachos. The frozen twix was really tasty too.

I absolutely LOVED this place! My bf and I ordered the street tacos, a Blanco taco, chips and salsa, and a half order of the loaded nachos. The full order nachos are HUGE by the way. We were famished, but even then we barely finished our food. It was all soooo good!! I wish we could come back before we leave. I had the rose lemonade as well and it was fantastic!

Great to have a vegan brewery in MKE - Edit
Dead Bird brews their own unique drinks and has good snacks and sharable plates. Brunch is great too! They have a selection of table games and vintage arcade games, and shuffleboard to play. Nice little patio area when the weather is nice too.

Great food and relaxed atmosphere. They take care to compost and recycle. They had a vegan vendor fair the day we visited. What a great way to promote local, vegan businesses!

Awesome tacos and nachos, we tried a few different tacos and they were all incredible. Also had the frozen “Twix” dessert bar from Bunny’s Bites which was very yummy. The drink and beer selection kept us happy, the retro arcade games kept us endlessly entertained. Will definitely be back

We had tacos ( which were little, order several) and a half order of nachos for lunch. The nachos were yummy. We ordered the non-alcoholic grapefruit thyme soda. Incredibly delicious! We will be back next time in MKE.

It's so nice to have a cool bar to hang out at that also erves a fully vegan bar-food menu. I miss hanging and eating there with friends pre-COVID!

A brewery with an entirely vegan menu! Absolutely stellar! I got the patty melt and a shake and they were both excellent. The order took a while to complete b/c covid, and the staff were effusively apologetic, and tossed in a free cookie to compensate. Love y’all!

Great ambiance and good social distancing practices. A little bit off the beaten path so not too crowded— outdoor tables were a great place to hang and chat! Their Caprese BLT was delicious!

Read moreAs for food: the pretzels are fantastic, the pepper appetizer was good. The tacos I absolutely loved (tried one of each and you can't go wrong).
They also have lots of arcade games and some board games to play.

Well we really wanted to love this place but.... vegan was advertised-that’s only for the food the beer is not. We ordered beer but skipped the stouts as not vegan. Ordered a flight. They didn’t have their kolsch but didn’t tell us and gave us something different. We asked about it thinking we got our flight out of order but no-they didn’t have what we ordered but didn’t say so and charged us for the number of samples we ordered. Kinda shady. The beer was ok not great. Food-vegan, true. Ordered 2 half orders of loaded nachos-1 w chicken 1 w beef. Both came out naked. Sent them back and repeated what we asked for. They came out the same 1/2 chic 1/2 beef on both 🤷🏻♀️ ordered the 4 specialty tacos. 3 were spicy but I could eat them, one was crazy hot. Not listed as spicy at all on menu. Hubs couldn’t eat them.
