3.5, bot many options and the curry is good but not more than that. Just a simple okay curry. Rice and bread could be a little better. When we called at 4.30 pm they said they were full and that reservations were not possible for that night. and when we just arrived at 6.15 there were many tables available and we got a seat immediately… luckily we were stubborn enough

Lovely beach bar with original vegan food - Edit
Such a lovely place to spend an afternoon at the seaside. We had the 'curry bitterballen' with lemon mayo and seroendeng and the naan bread with eggplant tapenade and roasted veggies, yum! We also enjoyed their large range of cocktails and beers. Other options on the menu were curry and a linguine with cream sauce. Definitely worth a visit!

Great curry and great place - Edit
There are some vegan lunch/dinner options and soms snacks. All are clearly labelled. I had the vegan curry which was really good. There is a very nice terrace with lounge seats. The place seems to be very popular, we went there around lunch time and there was a queue when we arrived and when we left.

I like their vegan options, more than enough choice. Nice curry for example. Instead of fake meat in regular dishes, just original vegan dishes. Needs healthy kids options.

On a spontaneous day trip to the island, we didn't consider what vegan options might be available at restaurants. De Marlijn really came through with some creative vegan meals! We ordered the coconut curry balls, which were served with a sauce and peanuts, and the vegan shakshuka that used vegan feta, walnuts, and edamame - so no protein was lost! Most other restaurant menus only offered vegan burgers, so the variety here was refreshing! They also had a curry, and a variety of vegan soups.

Yummy food! The pulled jackfruit sandwich is awesome and we also tried the vegan balls. They also had a thai green curry and vegan shakshuka but we didn’t try those. Not too expensive (in comparison to other places on the island) and definitely higher quality cooking. Was quite busy and our waitress wasn’t super attentive but maybe that was just cus it was lunch time. The sphere was quite nice otherwise. They also have oat milk as an option for coffee (the only place we managed to find on the island with plant milk).

Dit restaurant zit vlak bij zee met een fijn terras en heeft meerdere gerechten op het menu geschikt voor vegans. Zowel op de lunch als diner kaart. Ook cappuccino met havermelk is een optie.
Read moreWe hebben de groene vegan curry als diner gegeten, dit was een flinke portie vol met knapperige groenten, geserveerd met brood en rijst en deze smaakte erg lekker. Bij de lunch hebben we hier het landbrood met pulled Jackfruit geprobeerd. Deze was ook erg smaakvol.
De vegan ballen van kokos curry hebben we geprobeerd bij de borrel. Het leken een soort vegan bitterballen, ze smaakte niet echt naar kokos of curry maar waren wel erg lekker en ook het sausje erbij was lekker.

Great atmosphere, good food and impressive beer selection - Edit
This is a great place for hanging out, they have a beautiful terrace with sofas where to chill and enjoy the view on the island. Food is very good, vegan selection is decent given that you are in the middle of the North Sea! Staff is very friendly.
