Everything "Vegan" Perfect! - Edit
We are never disappointed driving in from Ormond Beach to enjoy this little restaurant. There's a big welcome from the wait staff. We always feel special. We have a vegan order every time we eat here. The freshness, flavors, and quantity are fantastic. No complaints, and I've tried all vegan options and can not pick a favorite. Everything is delicious. The atmosphere is quiet when we go and that's the way we like it. 👍

I cannot describe how disappointing this was. The food is flavorless. The “enchiladas “ tasted like watered down canned tomatoes. We had the hibiscus tacos, again, flavorless. And the arepa with plantains was just bland and gross. I’m so surprised how bad it was.

Not the average beans and rice. For a restaurant that is not fully vegan the staff and menu and well versed on veganism. Multiple vegan choices in addition to the usual vegetarian choices. So nice to have a Latin menu offering vegan cheese! Perfect spot for crowds that eat meat and are vegan. We got the vegan plantain enmoladas and jackfruit quesadillas both were excellent!

Absolutely loved everything we had here. I’m vegan and my partner is not, but we both had a wonderful time. We shared the Aspirinas appetizer and Mango Vegan Tart and then I had the Vegan Jackfruit Quesadilla - DELICIOUS. So yummy and full of flavor. Would give 5 stars if I could.

The restaurant has more than 20 items for vegetarians and has a vegetarian/vegan menu. I eat here twice a month because the food is outstanding, not Tex-Mex. The Chef, Nora is a saucier. For example, their mole sauce is outstanding. Favorites include Bandarillas which are roasted vegetables, straight up on a skewer, Nopales (cactus), vegan tacos, Enchilada combo - four enchiladas with different sauces, can be made vegan. They also have three soups all are vegetarian and can be vegan. Would give them five stars if I could. Trip advisor does.

They have a full section of their menu that is vegan. We tried the vegan hibiscus tacos, the vegan chicken gringa, and the vegan jackfruit quesadilla. They were all delicious and we came away very full.

I enjoyed my plantain tacos in mole sauce, and liked the vegan enchiladas even more, but I personally don’t think it’s enough food or substance for the price. If they added vegan meat and cheese options to the dishes in their menu I’d be more tempted to return. However the ambience was nice and it server was very friendly.

Mu husband and I shared Aspirinas. They were topped with black beans, tomato and onion. The chimichurri sauce was so fresh!! We also shared Yucca fries. There are two pages if the menu titled “Vegan’s Heaven” which includes Garbanzo Salad, Ensalada de Calabacitas, Vegan Enchiladas, Taquiza Vegetariana and more. We also shared a vegan tropical tart which was perfectly sweet. May end up coming back at sone point this trip.

The restaurant is right in the heart of DeLand and offers indoor and outdoor seating (sidewalk). Indoors the walls are covered in paintings and soft music plays. Our server brought the regular menus but at the bottom right corner it says "Ask about the vegan menu."

We were so pleasantly surprised with this place for lunch!!! It is located on N Woodland strip where there are a bunch of cute little shops nearby. They have indoor and outdoor seating. From previous reviewers i knew there was a separate vegan menu which we asked for... but beware, the back of the vegan menu doubles as the dessert menu, of which none are vegan. :(

We had ordered the guacamole as an appetizer with a side of salsa. Guac was very good (you could taste the lime) and the salsa was like a pebre (vinegar is awesome)!!! If ever in area again, i would totally revisit this place!

They have a special vegan menu that you can ask for here, which is awesome. I was also very pleased to see that most of the items are Gluten Free as well! I've been here several times with my family and it's been a pleasant experience each time. Happy to have this option so close to home. The food tastes fresh and the service is great.
