amazing opportunity!

I found this organization when I was searching for a coffee tour. I love their local impact. The money doesn't go to a big business. You help the local community. The cooking class was in a home. Our host (Veronica) was so kind and lovely. One other girl in our group was a vegan. We made a separate vegetable stock from start to finish. The rice, mole, and vegetables were all made vegan. We were included in all parts of the cooking process. We made Pepián, the national dish, plus flour tortillas, and plantains with mole. Our interpreter (Angela) was amazing! Our coffee tour host took us into the coffee fields to see the plants and try the coffee cherries. We returned to prepare the beans and brew coffee (vegan). I would highly recommend it to anyone. A great opportunity!

Pros: Amazing vegan food, Amazing people, We learned so much

Cons: They need to add more tours
