Very basic falafel place - Edit
Small shop with one older woman who runs the place, always on her own. They only serve falafel here. The falafel itself is good, but the salad bar with fillings is very minimal. You can sit down but it's not a very cosy place.
Pros: Quick and easy , Perfect for a quick lunch
Cons: Small salad bar, Grumpy service at times, Only falafel, doesn't serve anything else

Tasteless - Edit
If the only dish you are serving is falafel, you'd expect it to be really good or at least not bad. Unfortunately the falafel served here is very dry the vegetables not that fresh and crunchy and the sauces are not having that much taste. Worst thing is while normally the falafel gives the taste to the whole dish, since this one doesn't have taste, one could try get the taste from the poor tasting sauce.
Pros: In City Center, Handy During Shopping
Cons: No Taste, Dark Inside

Great vegan option the go or during shopping - Edit
The owner is very nice and told me everything is vegan indeed accept the garlic sauce. Usually that leaves me with just dry falafel balls but he also has other sauces available, such as a spicy tomato sauce. Fill your pita with falafel the way you like it from the buffet: the owner even gave me the tip to gently flatten the balls in the pita so I could fit more salad and veggies in!
A great quick and tasty option for vegetarians and especially vegans on the go (the latter who might end up eating fries with ketchup during shopping in Rotterdam city center or walking long distances to Burger Trut or Spirit).
Pros: Fast, Delicious and filling, Vegan sauce options

Yummy crunchy falafel - Edit
Everything is vegan with the exception of the knoflooksaus (garlic sauce) which is in a separate container
The falafel balls are wonderfully crunchy and very tasty
The topping options are more limited than Maoz and the great (now closed) falafel truck that used to be on Eindrachtsplein, but I was nonetheless very happy with my sandwich
The owner is very friendly and talkative, mentioned the word vegan without being prompted, and even suggested that my daughter order fries from an adjacent stand and come back to eat them in De Falafel
Pros: Great falafel, Clearly marked, Convenient
Cons: Limited topping selection, Stall could use redecorating
