Waffles are really good - Edit
I've been traveling around Belgium and in search of a decent vegan waffle. So far this was the best. I liked the white chocolate crumbles.
Read moreThey only accepted cash, so I had to go to an ATM which was ~4 min walk away. Then when I gave them the cash they didn't even have change... So the guy went out to get change. Took another 7 minutes. I finished my "take away" waffle well before he returned.
Pros: waffle really good
Cons: not very organized

Not impressed - Edit
It’s pretty expensive while the ingredients are not that special. Decided not to eat here, just the waffles. The waffles are ok, but nog special. Not coming back here.

Only place to get vegan waffles! - Edit
You're in Belgium, home of the waffle. So of course, you're gonna want one. But alas, you're vegan. Luckily there's this place! Kinda out of the way and I was the only one in there, but it was good. Cheers for not making me miss out on Belgium's specialty!

Perfect Belgian Waffles - Edit
It is the perfect place to eat in Brugge. They have delicious waffles which can be served with syrups of different flavors, fruit, and whipped cream. Make sure you taste the waffles with white chocolate, they are perfect! Also the hot chocolate with whipped cream and marshmallows was absolutely delicious. This place is a must if you visit Brugge.

Poor service. - Edit
We had the soup because it was the only cheap thing, but it was very good. But the service was terrible. The owner of the establishment was bad-mouthing us to her couple of friends. I didn't understand if she was racist or xenophobic.

Great and saviour of vegan food! - Edit
Vegan ramen en Brujas, pillamos este lugar vegano (parece que el único en Brujas) atendido por sus dueños muy buena onda y comida rica. Además, comimos una pasta, y de postre waffle.

Waffles! - Edit
Brugge is a tourist trap so I expected high prices and tbh this place is roughly on a par with prices in York etc. So, I had a waffle and coffee, both excellent and well worth the price.

Lovely Food - Edit
Really lovely food that has a comforting home made feel about it. We had the chefs special which was a potato curry that comes with a cup of tea or coffee. Flavours were amazing. Perfect amount of food. Highly recommend.

Excellent Waffles - Edit
I was so happy to find a vegan version of my favorite Belgian waffle! I got mine with whipped cream and chocolate sauce, my husband got the banana. I got a hot chocolate ( and I may or may not loved it so much I got an extra to go;)) I really loved the environment here. It was family oriented and personal. We just went for a mid afternoon snack, next time I will definitely go for a whole meal. Enjoy your special treat!

Good, fairly expensive - Edit
This is the only place I found with vegan waffles. We bought 4 waffles each with 1 or 2 toppings and our bill came to €32. The ice cream was only available in chocolate, but the chocolate ice cream was the best vegan chocolate ice cream I have ever treated. There is a sweet message in the ladies saying thanks for supporting their business rather than a large multinational.

Friendly place, tasty food - Edit
A pity that there are so few gluten-free options (actually I think there was only one). For my taste, there weren’t enough vegetables in my dish. It was almost only rice and tofu. But it was tasty.

A hit for us - Edit
Like many veggie vegan restaurants in Brugge they cater for the lunch time and very early evening market, only being open later on Friday and Saturday. Sadly that means we have only managed to eat there once, but we will certainly be going back!
Read moreI had the best Indian curry I have ever had outside of an Indian restaurant, and in fact better than in some of the ones in Brugge.
A good selection of beers and I can’t wait to try the rest of the dishes on the menu.
To answer the comments about the prices, Brugge is a tourist city and rents in the centre of the city are high, that’s how much it costs to eat out here.
As for the speed of the service, food in Belgium is generally a social affair rather than simple refuelling process, so anywhere you go the service is likely to be slower than what you may be used to. The restaurant is family run, and we had to wait a little longer to pay our bill as the lady who does the front of house had to take their kids back to school, and the guy was busy cooking.
Vegans and vegetarians care about the planet, endorse the concept of slow food, low food miles and we should also be caring about the people serving us food.

Best cafe in brugges!! - Edit
Went here for lunch today with my partner we had the avo bruschetta to start, I had the risotto and my boyfriend had the Thai red curry. The bruschetta was well seasoned and a decent portion size as we shared. The risotto was the best I’ve ever had, vegan or otherwise. It was creamy and cheesy but not too heavy at the same time, the asparagus was cooked beautifully. The curry had great depth of flavour and was a good heat for us.
Read moreI had a coffee which was really nice also, it came with a couple of biscuits and a small cake which we thought was a nice touch.
I would love to eat here again and definitely recommend it to anyone in the area.
Pros: A large range of options , Really nice coffee

Pros: Vegan
Cons: Teuer, Kleine Portionen , Langsamer Service

Lovely welcoming place - Edit
Went here for lunch on our first day in Bruges - was lovely to find such a characterful vegan place. I had a bagel and my boyfriend a wrap, which both of us enjoyed very much, followed by vegan waffles and one of the beers (was really nice to be able to have a vegan version of a traditional Belgian treat). Was a nice, friendly place with a good choice of bagels/wraps for lunch options (and could see they were serving pasta dishes too, although we didn't go for these). Prices weren't super-cheap but seemed fair and on par with a lot of other places in the area. There's also a choice of indoor or outdoor seating, which was great as the weather was so nice.

Not worth the price - Edit
From outside it looked cute, we read positive reviews in the app so went inside.
Read moreShocked when we looked at the prices. As we were not willing to spent above 20€ for one person for lunch, we decided to have bagels. These were 8€ per piece. Taste was fine but nothing special. Unfortunately they were so tiny we still were hungry. When we realized that we paid 3,50€ for a 200ml Coke we decided to go somewhere else for dessert.
Sorry but not recommended.

We had a mushroom bruscetta and a risotto. Both were very tasty but the mushrooms were fried and quite oily, probably not the healthiest way to cook.

Delicious food, tiny protein serving - Edit
Cute little vegan restaurant, all the food was delicious, but the red curry only came with 2 little blocks of tempeh, which doesn’t satisfy the amount of protein I expect from a meal, especially a 20 euro entrée. Flavors were delicious and the presentation artful, but I wish my main dish had had more protein. The tofu curry looked to have a bigger serving of protein. Waffle was delicious, as was the bruschetta.
